@@Terk131 That's right. One of the reasons they're doing so well is they are all so good they can trust each other to get it right, and when you don't have to worry about anyone else's job, you worry less about your own and can just enjoy it. And that shows when they perform.

@@Terk131 I've never had the pleasure to see them live in person, no. Just on tv and CZcams. And Rich Hilton, the keyboardist in Chic is of course a frequent regular on the SonicTalk live show, so I feel I almost know him a bit after watching that for 9 years, and he sometimes talks about the experience of being in such a nice band.
@@hakonsoreide I had 2 friends that was on the road crew (1still is) and they treat workers very hood as well. Just great all around.

I just saw Chic last night at the Bastille/Chic/Duran Duran show! Nile Rodgers is legendary and most of us could only be "lucky" enough to have this much energy at 70 years old! Absolutely amazing!
A show without an audience is nothing, and Nile Rodgers & Chic show so much love, dedication, and passion in every performance! They truly give themselves to the show, with so much energy and good vibes. It is impossible not to love this Band!

Ik ben zelf geen Pink Pop fan maar wel een grote fan van deze brother. Dat hij dit pinkpop publiek zo enthousiast krijgt vind ik gewoonweg geweldig. Ze gingen door het dak. Op 6 juli in Brussel ben ik er bij. Nile we want the funk and nothing but the funk! North See Jazz 2022 treden ze ook op!

This is how the real PRO'S do it. Genuine musicianship before our very eyes, I am in awe and thankful to have witnessed when it all started for CHIC. Proof that ingrained talent and God-given ability will always shine through.
I was there with my best friend. We were there the whole weekend, but this was by far the most entertaining one. It was a real party.

Just had the honor of seeing this gentleman and C.C. with Duran Duran. What a class act! Even came out into the audience and shook hands, took pictures with fans. We need more artists like this. 👍

Nile has survived cancer twice and shines with so much joy and confidence that it brings tears to my eyes. Such people bring true joy and benefit to humanity, while extremists (whether for power or religious zeal) some governments and states and their leaders only bring misery and suffering to humanity. I choose Nile! And we all have to think about what trifles we get upset about.
He's enjoying his life. We never know what tomorrow brings. I too am 2 time cancer survivor and cancer free today.
What a mind-blowing musical brain is Mr Nile Rodgers!

Gosh, this band is an absolute unit. To survive this long as a band, yet alone to still be active on the scene like you haven't aged a day, not only NIles but everyone here - I don't think anyone have even achieved this in the industry accept them, period.

This is no nostalgia band. This is living, vibrant, fantastic contemporary music. The lyrics are simple but are made profound by the stellar quality of the music and the rendition. When Nile and Chic are in town these are indeed the Good Times. And we need them.
And THAT is how you do it. Love CHIC. Saw them a couple of years ago. Best show I had seen in a long time.
