  • It is recommended that you refrain from any high level activities using your knee for approximately 48 hours. Routine activities including walking are permitted.
The most commonly reported side effects are temporary pain, swelling and/or fluid accumulation in the injected knee.
Please note that not everyone will have a lasting response following the injection. However, many patients experience significant decreased swelling, decreased pain, increased range of motion, and improved function.

Would you recommend HA for a young patient who had a partial meniscectomy. No arthritis otherwise a healthy knee for prevention ?

Dr Tam, enjoying your videos. From your experience, do you have a preference between Toradol vs Cortizone for MCL knee pain? I injured MCL doing leg lifts, meaning the next day my MCL hurt some. Now 3 months later some are saying Corizone and some are saying Toradol. I would appreciate your preference. Thank you.

Hi Mittal, It takes time for things to happen. However, if you want additional information, talk to your doctor. But healing takes time
