    This was a very hard watch. Cried during most of it. It's hard to fathom that people can be so filled with hate that they are capable of committing such atrocities. RIP to the victims and the living victims.

    49 beautiful souls that were lost too soon.... As the mother of a son who passed away too soon myself, I understand the pain these mothers feel. I'm so sorry for their loss😢

    3 hours and 16 minutes to take down one man. Yeah, I can see why the victims and their family members were questioning the police heavily on this.

  • @MsAirnation
    @MsAirnation Před 5 měsíci +6

    I heard a lot of complaints that this was overly critical of police, but...3 hours?! No I think it's fair to be critical of that. Compare this to the speed of the response for the Las Vegas shooting not even a year later, or even the backlash to the delay at Uvalde recently

    I was in Vegas near the shooting and its really hard to describe the panic and chaos that occurs when something like this happens. There is bad information, people panicking , you really cant blame anyone for how they react or where they retreat to.

    I have a question please? to anyone in law enforcement that could possibly answer my question.... please?
    what exactly is the Rules of Engagement when there are people being slaughtered and murdered continuously? honest question, I'm not being obstinate, or insinuating anything I seriously would like to know.
    WHAT is the ROE? is it to secure first, then go in, or maybe go in, take the perp out, then secure? as a civilian, I was always wondering ever since Columbine happened in 1999 which I clearly remember.

    • @Yourbattingaverageisdoomed07
      @Yourbattingaverageisdoomed07 Před 7 měsíci +1

      After columbine the ROE changed to “Immediately go in and engage and neutralize the threat. No waiting, no questioning, go in and stop the shooter immediately”
      I am not law enforcement but i have done a lot of research to train and prepare my family for these situations.

    • @handled99
      @handled99 Před 6 měsíci +2

      It's not called Rules of Engagement, it's a called active shooter standard operating procedures. When there is an active shooter Law Enforcement are supposed to immediately neutralize the threat, even by passing downed victims in order to kill the shooter immediately. A great example of this take a look at the Nashville Police active shooter response body cam. The officers here did not do that.

    • @Yourbattingaverageisdoomed07

      @@handled99 lol hence the reason i said im not positive because im DEFINITELY not law enforcement 😂😂 but the good news is you basically reiterated what i said so apparently i received accurate info! 🤞🏽😂 i just remember reading about it when keeping up with the news from M. Stoneman Douglas and Uvalde.
      Thanks though lol now i know 🤷🏽
      Correct me if im wrong again but man didnt Uvalde have HUGE controversy over this because of the way shit went down that day?
      What happened there as far as this “rule” goes? And the outcome?

    Only 30 minutes in and seriously, it shows how terribly educated and trained your police forces are. No tactical thinking, movement, nothing just looking like random people that should NOT be working with such a profession.
    Other than that, this was such a horrible thing to happen, and may their souls rest in peace. But America and it's people have done next to nothing to stop this from ever happening again, just two years later Las Vegas happened, and it will happen again over there. Because America cares more about their guns and egos than people.

    @34:48 ....YOUR WRONG LADY!!!!! SOMETIMES FAMILY DOES NOT CLAIM THE BODY BECAUSE THE PERSON WAS A RAPIST....OR A ROBBER...OR A PEDOPHILE! ITS NOT ONLY THE GAY COMMUNITY WHOS BODIES DONT GET CLAIMED!! GET OVER YOURSELF AND THE "WAAA WAAA" PARTY!!

    • @pinlight97
      @pinlight97 Před 7 měsíci

      You’re proving her point. Rapists, robbers and pedophiles are what, precisely? And, what are 2SLGBTQ+ people? One group…guilty criminals. The other…innocents just going about their lives. People do and will fully shun their own children who come out as gay or trans. It happens all the time.
      Also, why are you here watching this if your feelings are that? Move along.
