Giselle is underrated in the world of parodies! I've always thought that the ballet has the chance of absurd humour in it, both in the music and the plot (yet, it is going in a tragic direction). I've known so far two parodies of the Giselle ballet, one in a graphic novel (in which the ballet was called Roselle - it was my first encounter with the ballet itself; and another one in Barbie in: The pink shoes ("Hilarious!" "No, it is Hilarion!" (: )
That was hilarious and fun to watch. We should laugh more and this excerpt really helps. The dancers performed well with great timing and phrasing. Thanks!!🌼🌼❤❤

This is the fourth DHF I've watched, and it really drives home the fact that ballet is pantomime. These two are particularly good at it! Terrific performance! Wish I could have been in the audience! And, BTW, is anyone offering these presently (2024)?
