ཁ་དོག་རི་མོའི་འགྲེམས་སྟོན། KHADHOK ART EXHIBITION - Celebrating Jigme Choedak’s Life and Art

KHADHOK Collective held its Debut Exhibition from 25-27 August 2023 at the old Tibet Museum, McLeod Ganj. In celebration of the co-founder of the KHADHOK and the artist - late Jigme Choedak’s life and art, the collective aims to celebrate the artworks of Tibetan artists.
The exhibition showcased over 90 artworks, with a large number of them by the late Jigme Choedak (JC) and others by the two young contemporary artists Tashi Nyima and Tenzin Menlak. In addition, several other artists and photographers had contributed to the exhibition. Their artworks were auctioned, at the venue and online. A portion of the proceeds from the event would go to support JC’s family.
Jigme Choedak was a self-taught artist. A graphic designer, mural artist and cartoonist - JC was a passionate and budding young Tibetan artist whose life was cut short by an unfortunate accident.
