Much love to armed, great guy - had the pleasure of painting with him - true king!!

Madd video, wouldn’t mind seeing more graff based videos. Big ups to ARMED KSA 💯🔥
Good to see you back on after Christmas break. Looking forward to more vids 🍻🍻
Loving this my g! Keep up the great content brother 💯
Always good seeing new paint yet thrown up in Melbourne
I never knew why as a kid growing up in Springvale and Noble North area in the 80s and 90s I was influenced by graff and breakdancing. My choice of music was metal. But it makes sense now. Dandy Nobel WAS THE HOME OF BREAKERS, GRAFFERS AND B.BOYS. Mad interview.
Long time listener, first time commenter. David goes hard!
Graffiti culture is so interesting. The one thing I remember way back in the day was the tag "Mist" That tag was everywhere in the 80's when I used to catch trains to go to work.
Yeah Mist pretty Dope 🤪😂🤣
Ink lived in my street. Used to ride bmx’s together. I know a lot of the guys mentioned as well. What a history lesson this episode was.
Who wrote ink?
What suburbs
Amazing work king dave
Onya lads another good episode. 👊🏻

90s were nuts and awewome.Pretty spot on on
Swear I've seen ksa shit up here in SE Qld... anyway mad respect to a Melbourne legend.
Great show. Abit of history about breakdancing in Melbourne. Dad was in New York early 70s and having migrated to Melbourne early 80s there was a breakdancing crew he hung out with so it was out in Melbourne quite earlier. It became popular again later on with all the movies that come out middle eighties. 👍
I had to stop@14:00.
Noble Park pinnies,3174.
And that fight with 150+ you mentioned includes me.
This man speaks the truth.
I was there
Hello my brother, haven't seen your video notifications for ages ..

RIP Ewen Gibson
@@terrafullius yeah, I didn’t know him that well, but he seemed cool as fuck haha, died from GHB I believe 😞
@@dasmuss6174 Ok. We weren’t certain what it was. It was sad; he’d moved to Brisbane for a fresh start because he’d been spending time around Dandenong & Springvale, which had become a bit of a habit.
We were up the back at the funeral, at the family’s Catholic Church. I’ve never felt less welcome anywhere.

Old Menzies ave boy here. Those train rides back in the day at night we’re a dangerous trip. I remember the old fun factory pinnies and the pinnies and dandy station next to the southern Aroura pub we’re dangerous places always ready for a fight. A lot of savage Koori boys loved a scrap. Love the good old days
Were there abos in dandy?
yeah there were KOORIS, still are.Grew up Dandy south. walked under that tunnel everyday to the school, and hung around amusments, reflex everyday. yeah fun factory GT before Timezone was at old capital centre.
Fun Factory South Yarra the place to be back in 1987 !!!!!!!
My old flatmate Elton was a famous graf artist in Melbourne Dave, was the first person to be deported to nz without charge back in 99 if I remember correctly.. he be an interesting guy to have on your show maybe brother

Yes, love Graff!
Should’ve asked him about CTSA Dave, a chapter in the history of transit policing that few know about, will soon be completely lost and few today (or at the time) would believe
what can you share on it?"
@@generationexodus1783 It’s not really my place to talk about it coz I was never a writer, but fugg it.
As I heard it, the CTSA was a group of Transit Police. I don’t mean the “Gumbys” employed by the train service; they were Victoria Police whose responsibility was Melbourne’s transit system, particularly the train network.
They would walk the tracks at night, just like the graffiti artists they were trying to catch, ideally in the act of doing a piece.
They began to carry spray paint cans on these prowls, and would “vandalise” pieces on the train tracks, especially pieces done by artists they were familiar with, both personally and by reputation.
These police came up with their own tags, and named their crew CTSA, ie. Cops Trashin Subway Art.
I remember seeing this myself from the train, especially on the older parts of the train network where there were more underground tunnels. There’d be a nice piece that had been painted over with a big “CTSA” and signed with the tag of that particular cop. I wish I could remember the tags.
Not that any of this is particularly amazing, but you try explaining to someone on the train that that piece on the wall has been painted over with “CTSA” was actually vandalised by police… it sounds like utter bulltish.
Eventually they arrested one of my mates (R.I.P. Ewen Gibson) who pled guilty to a tag that wasn’t even his; if they’d been able to pin his real tag on him, “WHEN”, he would’ve done jail for it.
@@terrafullius yeah i remember this drama. just wanted to make sure that it was the same thing. dw that story wont be forgotten anytime soon. Cops Tagging Shit Artists / Cops Tagging Street Artists etc etc. thanks for the share too.
@@generationexodus1783 I hadn’t heard those versions before, but they’re probably right. Chinese whispers travel far.
@@terrafullius haha yeah. used to see heaps of the CTSA in the south east. its a story i like to share with the younger painters that i come across. from DSG/CTSA. miss them days tho. onya mate.
Went to school with Croak and Akwar .and Jaffa. Great blokes.
For some reason japha is rarely mentioned yet he's still bombing to this day
@@bennorman7144so does Pesk. He's done a few walls around Oakleigh. I think he owned a shop that restored old bmx bikes too.
Thank you
Good work felon show
I feel a wee bit uneasy telling dude his own business, but it's Ephesians 6:12. I had some beautiful souls bless my house before I did a 2yr lag on false allegations. They read that verse out during the blessing. I went away probably a month later & that verse got me through my worst days in there. Still blows my mind mind that Melbourne had a heroin epidemic. Really sad. Massive respect to our friend for getting himself through it 💜🙏🏻✌️
Heroin smashed the graffers in Melbourne like it did in Newcastle.
Dropped people that you’d never dream in a million years would touch it. RIP INKA FUMA ❤️

It's Still- "Crime on tha Line"👊🏼
Spin out. I was a bit younger and remember 3174. Good mate with Peter B rip, lived on Browns Rd near Wavo. I got into and survived the old dandy an Springy days if you know what I mean
Barney was a mad lad. That guy was always happy when I saw him. Always was on a mission lol
Love this nostalgia about graff crews back in the day. Never managed to get to Melbourne. Newy had like MOC, KOC & AMF’s. All burners. Remember going down to Sydney with a couple people when we were like 16. Ran into a crew called the High Rollers or HR. These guys meant business. Real professional urchers. All the tools. Didn’t give a fuck at all. Hurt a lot of people along the way in the space of one night. Seen a bloke get pumped and his wallet stolen quicker than Tyson hits. Sprayed anywhere they wanted. Can’t believe we kept our shoes. After a night of crazy stuff they ended up bluing between themselves on darling harbour and we got the fuck outta there haha.
@@Callithenicsking who were they?
I think i seen his tags on gold coast in early to mid 90s
Love it when the Perth boys come down and smash our grain trains. Dest, Kayano, bask.
I miss the old theme music 😢
I'm a Tru Nikka from Donny... Doncaster is da hardest gangsterz now
3175 - Home 🏡 where everything started haha!!
Who was "BONEZ" used to see that everywhere
Tubby and Raffles far out man i haven't heard those 2 names in ages. It used to be Tubby, Zolton & Raffles.
Tubby dropped his tag when he ended up going to a private school and in typical teenage naivety i thought he turned into a snob, I think he wanted to become a doctor and i hope he achieved his goal too.
Dunno what happened to Raffles & Zolton but all 3 of them were from the Prahran area & Prahran/Windsor back n in the early 80's was nothing like it is today it's heaps better it's more vibrant but with street beggers.
Tagging the red rattlers was fun back in the day, looking back they were classic old trains with brass fittings all over the inside of the carriages, we shoulda just smashed the ugly blue and the new silver trains... 😆
As young teenagers we just didn't give a fuck as is normal for that age.
Those guys plus Max & Gje and Sver & Curly were my inspirations when I started in 84 !!!!!!!
Fugg yeah, KSA, ADN, FMC

Definitely right about the system, how does one stop doing crime when the very system encourages it?
The legal system also is set up for the rich, think of how many boys have been convicted of a crime because they couldn't afford a decent lawyer/barrister? The legal system is classist, and your very life may depend on your lawyers or lack thereof, everyone should have equal representation, it shouldn't be held back by whether you're rich or poor.
No mention of the KFC or the ASAP crews.
LOOPS IN THE DAY. PAINT AT NIGHT.

It wasn't sharpies, it was posca pens..😅

Not a knock on him , but he done his dirt and playing possum. Not like others talking about how bad they were. And can tell you some real stories.Could go on for days.Boys getting knocked ,in the boot with bullets, ODing , real shit. After the graphing came the gear. Then everything else that came with it.Jez sounds like a every day dude but he seen and done it all.FMC,KSA,HTG ,JFK but Dandy was MC3.Pinnies were at yarraman station. Most of them inside turned POs.
KSA and FMC guns kaps kroke prior.. inspired our crew CFSK, which became CFS which fell apart as quickly as we formed.
