Nice review! I sat on the exact same seat (67A on a 777-367ER) aboard CX, but I was flying back from Brisbane instead. The legroom was satisfactory, and I didn’t have to use an overhead bin for my carry on bags- I still had enough legroom putting one of the floor. Choosing a window seat for a red-eye is absolute bangers. You can lean on the wall when sleeping- it gives you some kinda of extra comfort. Not even mentioning the sunrise view all by yourself!
Cathay surprised me for providing 2 meals on a 0010 flight, I genuinely thought it was snack > breakfast but it was dinner > breakfast.

Well done trip report. Remember, the CX jet fleet is 1 to 1 with the Mainline PR fleet. Between a CX B77W and a PR B77W, the CX version has external cameras and Universal Power port below you, but PR versions have been lacking in those two in Fiesta Class PR branding for Economy class since 2009-2010 service entry. My guess you went MNL🇵🇭-SYD🇦🇺 via HKG🇭🇰. Keep in mind the B77W you are on towards Sydney Kingsford Smith also appears in MNL from HKG which was the original stop over from HKG since 1946. Also explains why both PR and CX have been in competition for 77 years and more recently up to New York City.
