First, it was Faa-san. Now, it's Nehan. God, I love the way Granblue does antagonists. Not to mention that he and Six are a perfect match. In the end, both Nehan and Seox had to see through their own fates, and they both were tired of shouldering the burden of the Kalm Clan. At first, I though that Nehan's morality will disregard what Six went through, but he didn't. Nehan not only accepted his own point of view, he did so with Six too, which is rare. Someone deadset on revenge has had to went through a lot of suffering like Nehan did in order to be understanding of the other party(a good 80% of people usually won't even try to understand the other party, but hate them for what they did). Six's life turned out to be hell, because sin cannot be separated from innocence, or circumstances in general. Six learned to be solemn and understanding, because he secretly wanted to be punished and forgiven. That's the same for Nehan. He knew, and did say that his revenge has no (logical) meaning, but it actually had one. Watching his family die, and being sold-off to mafia that used him. It all eventually alligned itself for him to understand what Six went through, in the context of being used(in Nehan's case it was mafia, in Six, his clan). The conflict of what Nehan and Six wanted, and what they had to do was amazingly well-done. Especially the fight, where instead of your generic showdown of establishing a character that has to be the hero, and the villain, like in a majority of media these days -- both Nehan and Six were given the same privilage of acting out on what they believe. Yet, they still fought to understand each other, and purge the past. Six wanted to help Nehan, and Nehan wanted Six to comprehend his pain. Fuck, this is on a whole another level. The chapter's title is Egoism, and normally you'd think that is has to be taken in a negative light, right? Because, egoism=selfishness=disregard. That'd be true, but on the other hand, it's only applied technically. Nehan's goal was revenge and escape from the grasp of the past. Six's goal was atonement and escape from the past as well. Yet, they both not only fulfilled their own goals, but the goals of each other, since they both had each other in mind. Nehan wanted and did help Six, and Six did the same with Nehan. That's the most altrustic protrayal of egoism. Siete's heroic egoism comes into play as well. His methods were questionable, but he did save everyone together with Uno, and Rei. This game is seriously insane.
If only the event had been better written to give more spotlight to Six and Nehan. I felt as though it was trying too hard to tell various different stories.

They could've went and extended this event in order to fit what they wanted to tell, but it seemed like they cut a lot of what was supposed to be in to fit within 9 chapters. Not to mention that there are chapters, where the characters are really brief, or vague in terms of their intentions and of how they are relevant to the story, which destroys the build-up. Granblue team's writing is definitely SS-tier, just that they need to be less afraid of making bigger events. In Seeds of Redemption, we resolved the conflict of 3 Eternals. Quatre, Esser & Six. Sorn's story was tackled already, since it all centered around her fear of being called a monster. In the end, she was openly accepted by the person she cherishes. Okto's story was lowkey done as well, but they could do his retirement, if they really wanted. Like, something akin to passing the flames to another 8. Not sure about Sarasa & Niyon, since I haven't seen their Fate Eps. But, Cygames could make another Juuten event to explain stuff regarding Siete's past, his power and role alongside Uno. Unless, they want to do it in the main quest, which I feel like would make more sense.

I'm still pretty new with the GBF series but ever since trying Granblue Fantasy Versus (note I'm a fighting gamer) I explored what this series offers and I gotta say its sicc as hell from the intriguing concept, and a cool story, as well as the badass characters. Seox would make the coolest inclusion if he were to be in GBFV :))

i feel like this theme really captures six well. the buddhist chants tying into all that philosophy crap, the synth from 0:56 that kinda gives an 'echoes of the past' vibe, that piano loop with notes going up and down rapidly giving you an image of six running all over the place -- supported by the brass part playing melodies from the eternal's theme (1:58, 2:49 ~ 3:21, 4:48 etc)... good shit man. good shit.
This fight is so impactful. I'm getting a goosebumb whenever Seox and Nehan speaking in the middle of the fight. They need to make a sequel to this event, so Nehan can wake up and give Mugen a big hug
Cygames confirmed next anniversary event wont be a sequel to this as its hints it will be about the Society Ark event where we rescue Cassius in the moon though they will probably make a followup to this event explaining Mugen and Siete's origins
Finally found somebody who thinks the same! The very first time listening to this raid BGM, I immediately get Touhou vibes especially on the later part.
They sort of tease us with Nehan waking up (sorta) in Mugen's fate ep, so hopefully they will continue this. If they do, the event wouldn't be anniv event tho.
this story is meant to end in 1 event, but shark event exist so theres a chance nehan will make an appearance again in the future, just not in anniv event.

Same can be said for the whole WMTSB arcs, really that could make some good animated movies since their pretty self contained.
