Thanks for starting this show, I've been surviving off old Art Bell broadcasts to get my fix of pseudo science and weird shit conversations. Love it!
What a fantastic conversation! I could listen to these guys talk for hours.
Thanks for the kind words. Please make sure to subscribe and spread the good word. So we can keep making more of these
I actually saw the Shazam movie that supposedly doesn't exist. But the fact that Rod STERLING with a T, never saying "Imagine if you will" is absolute proof of the Mandela Effect.
You probably already know but Shakers branched off from Quakers (haha, why all the trembling back then I do not know). I was raised by a Quaker parent in Pennsylvania. They are actually pretty chill. There were no strict demands or rules like what all my friends from Irish Catholic families grew up with. It was kind of just a community meant for individuals to explore their individual spirituality and share with each other what they find. There were no doctrines or hierarchy or a leader of a Quaker Meeting service... They sit in silence for a half hour or so every Sunday to literally just privately meditate (yeah the thing that's super fashionable these days I guess). The kids joined but since kids have short attention spans and get bored easily most of us would sit quietly and draw. Which for me sort of became a type of meditation in itself- not all that different from what the adults were doing. A lot of my peers, myself and my brother included developed into artists in our adult years.
Quakers were also some of the first Americans to oppose slavery from the start as well as promote women's equality. I found out just recently that a small group of Quaker women in the 1800âs had created and been quietly running the Underground Railroad for 30 years before Harriet Tubman met them and came onto the scene. Incredible!
Thanks for sharing your experience. We actually have a person on our team who went to a Quaker school in N.E. as well!
Spread the Chinwag word!
Chain that got me here: I watched The Leftovers and then randomly listened to ArmChairExpert where you were and heard you decide this cast. It made me think of my 3 person text thread that we can talk about the weird and crazy with open minds! I'm only 2ep in bit out had the feeling like my friend chat! Love it! You would (maybe) love the WhyFiles pod, he has some cool things that you might enjoy. Anyway, looking forward to praying time delivering mail and listening!
So damn good.
Get this group back together for another episode, so much fun.
Cheers.
We are trying!
So wait. You're telling me that Will Farrel / Emma Thompson movie, "Stranger than Fiction" was based on an L Ron Hubbard novel?!
THE MISTAKEN EFFECT?
Steve Biko was a fellow activist friend of Nelson Mandela, IN the very same prison as Mandela, and Biko died in prison while Mandela was incarcerated there.
This likely is the foundation of The Mandela Effect.
Rigged Fluid Reality
Wait did that guy say "plumbing is a low profession " or is that the mandela effect? Not a good look, i for one expected more
Trump gets 4 hours of sleep but drinks 12 diet cokes . Howâs it possible to sleep on 12 diet cokes ?
And there it is...I knew this podcast was too good to be true. I love Paul, whose laugh is infectious and his acting is superb, and Steven, who is brilliant. And who doesnât love funny discussions about high strangeness? But for fuckâs sake, why did yâall have to start in on Trump and ruin it? And Oswaldâs theory that film industry output at any given time reflects who is president is just laughably ridiculous. If yâall canât control your Trump Derangement Syndrome then Iâm outta here. Go back and listen to your Billy Bob interview...itâs funny as fuck and politics/Trump were not mentioned once. Thatâs how you do it.
@ScrewballMcAdams thank you for taking the time to listen and write us your candid feedback. Wouldnât expect anything less w a name like that!
PS - great profile pic!!
@@chinwagpod Thanks for getting back to me, fellas. Keep up the good work. Pic was taken at an arcade on the Ocean City NJ boardwalk. My wife thinks I'm nutty as a Snickers bar.
Not a word said about tRump in this video is untrue. The real TDS is the idea that anything about that creep is admirable.
