SV is what I bought. Very happy!
Same. I wanted the king cab with the 6' bed so the Pro 4x wasn't an option.
Great truck
Love that they offer a long bed option
Love the pro4x Jason AND Nissan are MADE IN THE USA🇺🇸 “”NOT”” Mexico!! Awesome video and outstanding breakdown of options Jason!!👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you glad you enjoyed it
I bought my first truck this year its the pro 4x im loving my truck. Overlanding build incoming.
@@vincentlee9954 outstanding
Your videos got me excited about the deep discounts on the Frontiers, so I contacted a few dealers and was told I had to buy additional options totaling several thousand dollars. Some required financing the vehicle through them to get the advertised price. At least they came clean and disclosed this to me on the phone. My poor opinion of car dealers hasn't changed.
@sammy-e1m yep 8 out of 10 dealerships are scum. You have to hunt down the good ones and you have to use good negotiation tactics to get the prices today. It's all a crap scam. But if a person learns to negotiate you can sift thru it all and make it happen.
I drive dirt roads, drive through snow for a couple months every year, and tow a boat 3 seasons out of the year. I've never crawled a rock in 40 years of driving pickups...the SV 4x4 with the technology package was an easy choice. The tech package gives the SV all the goodies most people want like remote start, heated seats, dual zone climate, and Apple car-play. Add in the all around excellent engine and towing the Frontier provides and it's an easy buy.
@maine-lygamingtips2039 agree 99% of people do not need a hard core offroader. Until I moved to Georgia I didn't either. Here it's a requirement for the swamps I'm in. But the whole rest of my life before this a sv type truck would of done everything I needed even as a guy that live in Northern Michigan woods and winters.
Another great video, thank you. The Frontier is the best midsized body on frame truck available, naturally aspirated V6, I would not be surprised if this truck becomes the new King Of The Hill since Toyota’s decline and QC troubles, no vehicle is perfect but this one really stands out in todays market.
@ArchangelMLM yep the frontier offers everything people want today including reliability and longevity. I bet frontier sales beat tacoma sales this year.
Man I really hope so. It kinda disappointed me that the Titan is going away because it’s the truck a lot of guys say they want (reliable, NA V8, hydraulic steering, no gimmicky tech crap) and it still failed. The Frontier is everything the Titan was minus the V8, so it better beat out the girly Taco now lol
@JokerG16 I think the titan would of skyrocketed had the tundra issues came out a year earlier. People want a reliable long term truck. And with the old tundra thry got that. Many thought they would again with the new one. So titans just sat on the lot. Now people are scrambling to get one
@@JokerG16So many big 3 fanboys are loyal to their Detroit brand no matter what. Titan has plenty of the things they need but they can't break out of their brand mindset. And Toyota is such a cult with its followers...but I still don't know why Nissan didn't push Titan more. I was actually hoping they would take the 8 lug stuff from their big NV vans and make a true Titan 3/4 ton with a good diesel. I'd go for that in a minute. Nissan DOES know how to mske diesels at their UD commercial division.

I’m on my 3 rd generation Frontier……. now driving a 2024 PRO 4X and way better than the previous Frontier’s!
Congratulations on your amazing new truck
My 2012 Frontier SL 2x2 Crew Cab long bed was bulletproof for 160K miles. Traded that in for a 2024 SV 4x4 Crew Cab long bed with the convenience and technology packages, spray-in bed liner and tie-down track system. LED lights would be nice, but for me, I don't care. Much more refined than my 2012, which was pretty utilitarian compared to my 2024. The main reason I went with the SV is the long bed, which is not offered on the Pro-4X. Why? I don't get it. Show stopper for me. That and I really don't do any serious off-roading. My SV is silky smooth and quite interior on the road. The V6 and drivetrain are quiet and effortless. The only shift I feel is from 1st to 2nd. After that, I feel nothing. Personally, I love the intelligent cruise control. Works awesome. No more turning on and off the CC in light traffic on the highway. The seats are really comfortable on long drives. Rear seat comfort and leg room are adequate. Front passengers can move their seats up a couple of 2 or 3 inches, and the rear passengers are good to go. Frontiers are a great midsized truck with the V6 separating it from the competition.
@nvpoolshooter glad you are loving yours. It sure is a great truck and the v6 is a huge win in today's world
Fwiw the '23 Frontier Pro 4X was available in Canada in King Cab/ 6' box form but not the U.S..
The main thing is it comes with a naturally aspirated 3.8 liter engine. Seems asking for that today a no go with the other trucks.
Very true
Wish they had the king cab pro4x here in the 🇺🇸
TY
@@icosthop9998 very welcome
Hell, there is nothing wrong with the base S trim. You still get the same engine and transmission.
If you can live without some of the creature comforts. You can save even more.
@@poltergeist3194 very true
I'll bet the S is deluxe compared to my XE D21 !
Bought that bad boy in Black and put a 2.5 in lift with 265/70/R17 Pirelli All Terrain.
Veey nice
Another great video. Ive been calling and emailing dealerships but it seeems difficult to negotiate through them. Dont you deal over the phone? And if you do, maybe make a video on a tutorial on the best way to negotiate over the phone. I hate going to the dealerships and spending all day there lol
I do negotiate over the phone. I have made a video to help people learn to negotiate but very few watched it. Probably won't do another one. But I will say it takes a pad of paper, a list of 20 dealerships and alot of working back and forth.
@SamkoWorkShop I appreciate the reply. I'll check that video out. Your the man!!
@RedeemedPrepper here is that video. Forgot to link it in last comment.

Nissan Frontier will soon become the #1 selling mid size truck. Well deserved.
i believe so or it will tie with the gm twins.
Off road tires also on pro4x
@@richp1245 good point
I’m torn between the Pro4x and chevys zr2. The zr2 has a bunch of tech I don’t really need, but comes with a better lift and looks better imo. The Nissans look pretty good also, and I’m sure they are awesome trucks. Just can’t decide. Last truck I bought new was 21 years ago, so anything’s better than my current ride. 😂
@devildog5354 Haven’t yet. I plan to soon though. What’s your thoughts? Any experience with either one?
@devildog5354 Decisions decisions.😂 Thanks for the input.
I thought the same thing. I ended up getting the pro4x because of its v6 NA motor and how well it drove on the road and it's smooth transmission. I live in rual back country choppy road area and I avg exactly 23mpg. If you can snag the pro4x cheaper then the zr2 then use the extra $ for a 2 inch lift. I put the ADO lift with the add a leaf in rear and 1 inch wheel spacers and the truck is absolutely transformed into a rugged looking tougher truck with a bit more ground clearance.
@@snowsolo Sounds killer. Thanks for the suggestion.
I'm in the same situation. I like that the ZR2 already comes with a 3" lift and 33's. The Frontier is a great truck but plan on spending another 5k to do a decent lift and bigger tires. You also have to install a differential breather kit which is cheap if you go through any water.
Gosh.... I wish I could talk to the Nissan marketing dept.! I'm all for options... but for gosh sakes... Keep it simple! IMHO, too many overlapping options. How about a base (work truck) and a mid level... then the Pro-4X for those that want "everything". Most buyers tend to purchase based upon available stock vs. ordering. Nissan has a great truck here (Titan also!) and they better get better at marketing. We all know how crazy it's getting with small displacement turbo 4-cylinders and the Toyota issues. Keep the V-6 Nissan!!
@johng.4959 think the frontier keeps the v6 atleast thru 29
My friend just bought a trd sport 3rd gen for 55k 🤦🏿♂️ Jesus i tried to stop him from doing so many stupid add ons he could of done later. but 55k for a third gen is crazy showed him how over priced he payed for it, lol his first truck haha. Why i want a titan lol showed him he paid full size price for a midsize truck
@@crisikingful that price is insane! But people are paying it
I think it’s nutty that trucks don’t come standard with a tow hitch!!!
It’s a dang truck! It’s what it does!
All these truck manufacturers list payload, horsepower and towing capacity… but then don’t always include a tow hitch!!??
Local Nissan dealer up here has a bunch of Frontiers!! And about half of them don’t have hitches!
Just make it a standard thing before it leaves the factory! If you never use it, then fine! But adding one on later can be a bit of a pain (to do all the wiring and whatnot)!
Just my opinion.
I agree I have a 22 but I understand there was a shortage that year of hitches. But there is no excuse for current one not to have it. Mine has the wiring in place so it’s not that big of a deal.
100%!!!
@KevinEdge81 agree 100. See it on colorados, rangers, frontiers. Hitch is optional and makes no sense. Full size trucks do it too.
@@Jason-Samko for sure! You’re exactly right; it’s not just Nissan! GM, Ford and even the Gladiators do not come standard with hitches! And it’s almost worse to offer a full-size without a hitch, but like you said, they all do that too! Especially for the prices these days, I would expect a hitch to be included…
And a dang spray on bed liner too! Just include it! I think those two things are more necessary than the weird little sliding rear window(in my opinion). I’ve had one on each of my last two trucks and hardly ever used it… and I’m not sure about now, but it seems like back in the day; the rear sliding windows were often prone to leaking!
@KevinEdge81 agree and the rear slider today is so small and basically pointless. I never use mine
They sit too low! I’ve only see one lifted and it looked so much better!
Everything looks better lifted
Last night I saw a last gen Frontier on a car lot, lifted a little on 33" tires. It looks burly! I'm sure the power curve suffers though. Was hoping it was not an automatic, but fat chance. But Frontiers look great built up a little! Nissan has to set them up for average buyers and let the customizers go at it.
I bought an SV with hopped up packages. Money had no play in my purchase. Got everything I need. No Thank you to the LED lights. Hate the orange Pro4X interior trim colors.
@egresk1 sounds like you got the best truck for your needs and wants
This guy is boring!
