- In this video we will be explaining Kashimo's cursed technique Mythical Beast Amber and how the thunder god is able to control everything electricity can muster and all phenomena there within. Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 238 spoilers showed us the end of Hajime Kashimo vs Sukuna , and unfortunately in this chapter we do get Kashimo death . Kashimo dies to Sukuna's world cleaving dismantle attack, the same Sukuna killed Gojo with. So explaining Mythical beast Amber is the best way we can honor Kashimo dying! Sukuna kills Kashimo

I liked how in 237 Kashimo was defined as beyond mankind, while in 238 Sukuna was called humankind perfected and essentially beyond Kashimo
I would kind of read the opposite way as being beyond human means that your beyond the peak of human kind could achieve. Feel like the wording should of been reversed

Could be because Kashimo was tapping in the world of what Sukuna real body is in , as we can see Kashimo also was more like a Demon or curse spirit with multiple eyes and all but ofc very limited since he can use it once ,wile Sukuna was in that state all the time, clearly Sukuna was the master .
Ngl, this kinda makes me think that Sukuna's power may not come from natural talent like Gojo or Yuta, but instead from training and study (and mindset), which is why he doesn't look down on others for their techniques (just for being weak). Like he calls Yuji naive and stupid all the time, but at no point does he call him worthless or says that he'll never be able to reach him, and the guy doesn't even have an inherent technique.
Sukuna isn’t “humankind perfected” more like a being with a body perfectly suited for jujutsu. Sukuna js a curse taking fleshy form so hes not human per se.
He made such a secret about it. Kashimo wanted to use this against a real monster.

But true Sukuna had four arms, boostet speed and power, several mouths to chant and enhance his CT and stats and the space cut dismatle that ignores defense. Amber beast Kashimo would be able to one shot Maha or any other shadow. He would be able to outspeed Sukuna and once he gets a few hits off he could blow Megumis body up using his sure hit amped lightning at which point RCE would not help. Sukunas Domain expansion is the only wildcard here. We don’t know if Kashimo got a Domain expansion on his own or simple domain or if he knows any other defense of domains. I assume he does because he lived his entire live as the strongest, killing all rivals without his amber beast state (as he would have died otherwise). It is impossible for someone to live his entire life as the strongest without fighting several capable sorcerer that use Domain expansions. We will sadly never know as Kashimo was put into action just when Sukuna was close to going into Phase 2.
@@mightyshady1016 Meguna also has the space cut and there’s no evidence Kashimo can one shot Mahoraga. He’d never outspeed Sukuna or land hits, and even if he did you’d have to be crazy to think RCT wouldn’t heal that damage.
@@yeahkeen2905 Meguna gained it through the fight with Gojo. In a scenario where Kashimo went first, fighting a healthy Sukuna that means no space cut. And he did outspeed Sukuna at first, landing several hits, using distraction tactics to land more hits. Yes the lightning is alot stronger then without the amber beast. We saw the lightning against Hakari and Sukuna. Hakari had an arm blown off and a pretty big hole blown into his chest. Sukuna was consumed by a massive explosion and forced to incarnate. I assume Megumi's body blew up there. Also, read through Kashimo's abilities. He can use the amber beast state to vaporize matter through electromagnetism. He could use his lightning to blow Maha up.
In my honest opinion Gege drop the ball with this “Mythical Beast Amber” The form itself is underwhelming and what it displayed in that chapter was unimpressive.

Kashimo took on a form that definitely was levels above the main cast, the thing is, sukuna is on his own level, with gojo right under, and this kashima several under Gojo. The series ended as soon as Sukuna started cutting through infinity
If there was more grades sukuna would sit at calamity gojo would be right under that grade with special grade right under him
Sukunas and gojo were equal until sukuna obtained mahoraga and the ability to cut through infinity. Sukuna now is a dimensional slicing monster. Kashimo never stood a chance tho but he wanted a vikings death and for that i respect

And without the reality cutting, he coulda just used Heian era form and bodied from the start, or at the end and just domain expanding. Gojo was incapable of that at that point in the fight. Sukunas got four arms, two mouths and the highest physical stats and total CE, all while hes continuously chanting and doing hand signs. Gojos not whooping his ass. Especially since sukuna no longer needs to be defensive and wait for adaptation. Infinite void isn’t hitting sukuna, not to mention he was also trying to let the effect hit megumis soul. A bad assumption he made, and sukuna wouldn’t even think to do that in Heian form. & possibly can’t in Heian form since megumis body has completely changed. The whole fight is different with that form. Remember how gojo gets to breathe enough and figure out how to counter sukunas domain? That goes differently when sukuna is bigger stronger, has a longer reach and 2 extra arms, getting buffed by chants and hand signs, and being more aggressive as opposed to defensive. I mean maybe gojo handles that, but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t.
Too bad that Sukuna's offscreen CT is just way better. But Kashimo wasnt lying when he said he's next so we good

A misconception that many people have is that Kashimo's CT is one time use because of a binding vow, that's not the case, it's the technique itself that can only be used once. There is no binding vow involved.
I don't think that's a misconception. It's very likely that both are true. Telling an opponent about your CT increases its strength bc of the trade-off. That's a low-key binding vow. Kashimo never using his CT over an entire lifetime, and telling others he's saving it for Sukuna has to count for something. Just bc he doesn't say, "binding vow" doesn't mean it isn't one. But yea, you're on the money that a CT which changes Kashimo's molecular structure would obv be one time use
It also means that the sorcerers of the edo period were ass because hakari beat him without his CT

Also, after now seeing Sukuna show up in two character's final moments and provide actual compliments and words of wisdom I wonder if he somewhat cultivated sorcerers of his era. Like defeating but still leaving some alive if they didn't annoy him and showed potential. Kind of a Hisoka from HxH situation.

Similar to how Naoya was reborn as a curse and his body became perfect for the use of projection sorcery, or how Sukuna received a body perfect for fighting and reciting incantations.

Despite Kashimo kinda getting sauced on, it should be noted that 1.) His lightning blast CE trait attack is considered dangerous enough that Sukuna needed to use his trump card to survive and 2.) Even true form Sukuna didn’t let Kashimo touch him a single time with his vaporizing Electromagnetic Blasts which means Kashimo most likely has the raw AP/Dura Neg Hax to vaporize Sukuna if he even landed one hit
That’s aside from the rest of what his CT does. If we don’t factor in the limitless barrier, Gojo’s a lot closer to Kashimo’s level of power than he is to Sukuna in terms of raw stats and offensive hax, but his defensive hax puts him over
Kashimo had the exact same issue as Yorozu. Gojo isn't just strong from raw power, which he definitely still has over Kashimo. It's that he doesn't remain limited to one application of his technique. Kashimo. Is a massive gun that blasts through everything. Gojo's defensive hax has a lot of additional utility. He didn't just need to hurt Sukuna, he completely controlled the battlefield.
No doubt Sukuna is on a different level, but Kashimo was done dirty... all that build up just to get chopped in 1 and a half chapters
Yea definetly, he should have lasted and show more at least one more chapter, Gege did him very dirty .
Only problem with that is that if you let him show of to much against Heian Sukuna you would let the main villain look weak and we saw how well this was taken by fans in the Gojo vs Sukuna fight.

Did we get to see Kashimo dying besides the flashback? Im kinda disappointed this is it for his character, was hoping to see more than one chapter of his amazing ability, he should've last at least two more chapters before Yuji appearence in my opinion :/

So tragic sukuna awakened his off screen cursed technique 💔💔
His CT makes his AP a lit higher, makes him a lot faster to the point he can easily outspeed a weakened Meguna, who mind you no other character in the verse can outspeed to that level even in his weakened state, and allows him to shoot cursed energy projectiles from anywhere. A truly powerful CT, it is unfortunate we basically just got an explanation about it and nothing else. I still think with what little was shown, and what was explained I can safely put CT Kashimo at the number 3 spot in the verse, even above Kenny in just raw stats.
I agree but I think gojo was faster than sukuna (during their fight) I can't say much about kashimo being faster than gojo or vice versa.
I think kenjaku and yuki are a bit higher due to their ap and rct will always put a sorcerer on a higher tier, regardless of durability or speed

I'm guessing he originally could use it indefinitely. Since it was an inate technique etched into his soul/body and he developed it over time, his body probably adapted to it slowly.
A good comparison would probably be: body builder deadlifting 400lbs, then his soul in regular dude trying to lift 400lbs

Maybe a binding vow. My personal theory is that back then, he could only perform one phenomenon at a time. Meaning that he picked what he wanted and that was all he got. Maybe through a binding vow, he found away to change the forms he took for as long as his body could take it.
Sorcerers have an innate understanding of their technique from birth it seems. How else did Kenjaku know that he could switch bodies?
Kashimo is my favorite jujutsu kaisen Character and at least sukuna recognized him as strong and respected him when he died.

Yeah it was done to make sukuna look more scary and to likely make yuji look badass now he's inbound. Aside from gojos off screening I thought kashimo getting owned despite the hype was pretty cool (and expected)
We all know Kashimo stood no chance against Sukuna but narratively it would’ve been better to make him last at least 3 chapters and show us his CT’s potential and how overwhelming it is for a 1 time use to solidify his position as the strongest edo sorcerer befoe he gets smoked by Sukuna

Gege dropped the ball. I don't mind the low dif, but he should have went down like a legend with insane feats. Kashimo needed 1 or 2 more chapters of just going berserk and throwing a crap load of different abilities.

i.e., having massive attack power due to raw strength (stats) vs having massive attack power because the damage you deal ignores conventional durability (hax)
Kashimo's ability is just a lot of stats and most of his hax is still natural phenomena that doesn't have properties like, "this attack ignores ALL durability" like sukuna, or "your attacks do not, EVER connect if you have any momentum" like gojo.
If you're gonna claim, controlling all electricity-related phenomenon can still accomplish lethal damage to sukuna or gojo, because scientifically they can, Kashimo just wasn't shown to be physically capable enough to use aspects like heat, energy difference, magnetism, etc that comes with his CT so it doesn't sound relevant
Kashimo technique was pretty dangerous and he was trying to end the fight as soon as possible, unlike Gojo. So Sakuna had no choice but to put him away fast. With his new buffed cleave that he's been seemingly working towards most of the series.

for those who didnt watch the video / dont know how MBA really works, here's a small summary:
Kashimo's MBA form allows him to convert his flesh using CE to render any phenomena related to electricity as a weapon in his arsenal.
Be it invisible lightspeed beams or electromagnetic waves that vaporizes irradiated objects, X-ray to analyze enemies resulting in precognition by reading the electrical signals & muscle movements of his opponents to know their next move + perceiving the alteration of temperature & density in air which gives him Aerial movement as a bonus, Speed amplification & Inhuman Agility due to all electric signals in his brain being active, Discharge & fine-tune sound waves that matches natural frequencies of materials to destroy them, Emitting radiation that can cause long-term genetic & physical damage, occurrences related to nuclear energy, High heat plasma energy, Antimatter where the range of one gram of it is similar to an atomic bomb but more potent damage wise, and MANY MORE TO COUNT.
Kashimo can also regenerate if he ever loses limbs or organs by converting them into bodies of electricity. so unless you kill him in one shot, he will keep regenerating until he becomes lightning itself & will only lose once his CT ends or he runs out of CE.

Bro what? Jackpot hakari was able to touch kashimo no problem. It's pretty blatantly stated that if you have an overwhelming amount of CE output, you can negate the teasing effect of kashimo's CE. Also, kashimo's reactions being buffed doesn't help at all against sukuna. The form isn't weak, sukuna is just way too strong

The narrator literally said that he surpassed human limits and could replicate any electrical phenomena but we literally saw none of that which is just bad writing because we all knew he stood no chance against sukuna which makes it pointless to introduce him and then waste him like fodder without doing anything significant for not even 3 chapters

If he actually trained his technique and learned rct he could have applied it on some parts of his body and use rct to heal it and if he does the full body thing it could be like a timer and if he goes past it he will die but he can turn it off to live
He still has a body since sukuna cut off his arm but it didn’t regenerate so it’s probably more like a armor
I think kashimo is really strong but I think another user would do way more than him. Like sukuna and gojo. Also wouldn't using that form in a weaker mode keeping your body from breaking down would be better without the binding vow. Or a less demanding binding vow like low curse energy for a certain period of time
Kashimo had potential to surpass sukuna(not haian era) if he could have only fought sukuna before gojo did or if he could use his abilities a bit.

@@josiahartis4207 I think that as an author it's not too difficult to assume that in a manga renowned for its previous fights, making a statement that one of the strongest characters in the series has a special one time technique he will use to fight the strongest in universe and waiting months to reveal it will lead to the fans expecting something more than a single chapter of punching twice and then dying. So, yes, I think he did make a pretty big deal out of it. It was at the very least deserving of something better than what we got.
