It's crass to announce on national television how much you will be donating to a cause - especially when it's a drop in the ocean of your vast wealth.
this is all for publicity, it's their job nothing else, but it fool enough people that they make a video saying "kindness" XD

To say Kim donated is a bit misleading. To have an organization you are affiliated with and one of the faces of that organization donate is a wonderful thing, but did she donate any of her own money?

Define acts of kindness. I am not sure I agree with yours. Where is lovely Chris Evans? A number of years ago, during the Academy Awards ceremony, the winner of the best actress award was sitting in the front row a few seats down from Chris. As she rose to accept her award, she couldn’t disengage her lovely evening gown from her seat. Chris immediately stepped forward, released the dress for her, walked her to the steps and accompanied her to the top of the stairs so she wouldn’t trip and then returned to his seat. His mother clearly brought him up to be a gentleman and he learned well. And THAT, my friends, is an act of kindness.

I watched Jack Black do a documentary on a third world country and in how poor they are and how the children barely survive. But as he was speaking to a little African boy, the little boy kept saying, "Adopted me please! I'll be a good boy! Please adopt me!" And the FAKE Jack Black just shrugged the little boy off and ignored his plees. Some of these celebrities only do good when their being watched.

That upskirt blooper was not act of kindness. She ruined the moment as the girl wearing that skirt for a reason and looks like didn't care about the wind before at all.
Too bad the comments are so cynical, but that seems to be the way of the internet. A better comment might be “What happened in my life that caused me to ascribe the lowest possible motives to every act of kindness”. A little self reflection might reveal the hateful reactions say much more about the person making the comment. As a thought experiment, remove anger, fear, a jealousy from your mind, and then rewatch the video. Act as if you were speaking face to face with the person who you are criticizing, and ask yourself of your comment “ Is it true, is it kind, and is it necessary?” Be a voice for good.
