The thing I don’t like about judges at sentencing is that they have the power to “judge” if someone’s remorseful or not & can simply give them the max or not . Not everyone displays the same range of emotions the same exact way . Just because he’s sitting there with his arms crossed , doesn’t mean he doesn’t care . He’s in a court room fighting for his freedom , a lot of guys are nervous, they honestly don’t know what the hell to do . Theirs no court room training lessons . A sentence should be based on the crime , evidence & whatever the law in that state decides the time should be for that crime . . . Not based on how the judge feels about how a person is sitting at sentencing . Your telling me if AR-AB put on a act , started fake crying & begging for his freedom , then MAYBE the judge would’ve gave him a lower sentencing ? That’s not weird ? It’s like they want everybody to remember they are GOD in the court room , & they want their toes kissed while giving out a sentence, if you don’t preform well in court , then you’ll get the max. If that’s the case , what’s the point of the law ? . . I mean then again , we saw Kyle Rittenhouse fake cry & get away , so I guess that is the case 🤦🏾‍♂️
