  • On one of my bike rides through Amsterdam via the Amsterdam Westpoort Freight Terminal I came across these two gondolas sitting on a siding. They were similar but different and I decided to model both of the pair. They are designed for a FDM 3D printer and use Micro-Trains medium shanked couplers. Included are more than 30 versions of coal loads between the 40' and 65' versions. To use a kid's toy or static model I made a NW2 Locomootive and a set of 3D printed "wheels" with a one piece articulated hinged which does come apart and back together. Just not sure how many times...
Use these Gondolas as a N scale model train or as a static display model or as a kid's toy with the included NW2 Locomotive and printed "wheels".

This is really cool. And the neat thing is that once we buy the STL we can make as many as we want.

Thanks so much! As if that wasn't enough, I made a free to try my stuff out Gondola with a set of kids printed "wheels" to use it as a basic toy train or N scale model train. With a NW2 locomotive since every train needs a loco! cults3d.com/en/creations/free-40-65-n-scale-ore-gondola-for-micro-trains-couplers-a-dozen-plus-diffe
