The Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Phoenix Suns, 126-109. Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 36 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists while Rudy Gobert (19 points and 14 rebounds) and Karl-Anthony Towns (18 points, 13 rebounds) totaled 37 points. Bradley Beal led Phoenix with 28 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists as Kevin Durant added 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Timberwolves now lead the best-of-seven series, 3-0, with Game 4 taking place on Sunday, April 28, 9:30 PM ET, TNT.
In tonight’s game, Anthony Edwards moved into second place on Minnesota’s Playoff points list, he trails only Kevin Garnett.
Edwards totaled the 7th 30-PT game of his Playoff career tonight in just his 14th career Playoff game. Seven games match Kevin Garnett for most such games in franchise history. Garnett played in 47 postseason games for the Wolves.

There are many greats in basketball history who never won a title or only a couple. Sometimes it's just bad luck or bad timing. Only 1 team out of about 30 can get a title every year.

You always need shooters when things go flat. Also, having decent back up centers is not a bad idea either.

Both Klay and Wiggins were inconsistent asf tbh and yet, Steph still led GS to 46-36? I think with a legit big man and a wing GS can get back into the finals. I’m expecting Kuminga to make another jump too, and become GS clear #2 option. Both, Podz and TJD will be better next year. I don’t want Klay to leave but I rather have Wiggins coming off of the bench with another long wing alongside Kuminga in the starting lineup cause Klay’s defense isn’t helping none especially when he’s not making shots.
