- Come along on our high country mule deer hunt. On this hunt we chase the buck of a lifetime, which proves to be very difficult due to his elusive nature. In the end we find success. Enjoy!

hey, at what elevation does a person have to be at to be determined a "high elevation hunt"?? just curious see those headlines often but...
I would say anything above 9,000 feet and above is typically what I would consider “high country mule deer hunting.” That’s usually where the timber starts to become more sparse and the vegetation starts to become stunted making it optimal for stalking. That’s what I consider “high country” at least when it applies to mule deer hunting.

Thank you! In this video I was running a Sony A7C with a 24-105 f/4 lens and for most of the wildlife footage I was using a Swarovski ATX 20-60 with my IPhone and a Phone Skope attachment.

Nice Muley! Edit transitions need some work. Tracks were killer. A lot of the cinematic shots were great, but transitions killed the smoothness of the story imo.
I’m still pretty new to videography, so I will definitely improve. I personally didn’t think that they were that bad, but I will definitely be looking at it to make it better. Thanks for your input.
