- Essequibo, Hidden River - Extra Long Documentary: • Essequibo: Hidden Rive...
This captivating documentary spotlights the ocean's elusive predators in the Mediterranean - the colossal sperm whales, endangered monk seals, and the massive Mola or sunfish, uniquely captured by filmmaker Thomas Behrend. It also portrays the deep connections formed between humans and marine life, seen in Ute Margreff's bond with a dolphin on Ireland's Atlantic coast and Florian Graner's love for the fjords of northwest USA. An intriguing narrative of marine biodiversity and human interaction.

Very enjoyable. I have snorkeled with manatees in the Crystal river several times...watch out for gators !
Very interesting and calming documentary. Nice relaxing change from all the trouble in the world!
With all those dead fish markets, how relaxing..

Reminds me of that old joke; *“what did the blind man say when passing the fish market on his morning stroll?”*
🤔 😂
That actually amazing job that everyone can learn and know more about it.
I thought learning about the fact that the fish in the Mediterranean market was brought in from Africa because of over fishing and all of the scars on manatees and whales from ships were exactly the kind of trouble in the world I'm usually exposed to.
i would just stay strapped up when on the boat best way to ensure your definate interaction
Oh wow! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love extra long documentaries!!! Please share more! ( But I’d Rather see docs that are just narrated by one person and not films containing all the human commentary and footage of people.. I just enjoy narrated wildlife vids Honestly ).
More Extra-Long content coming your way soon 😎
They always share more for us. I like that job too, but I don't know how to find that job in my country.
Beniffer al the way Luv them both together again True love
Espetacular, Incrível.
wow Amazing!
I will diving into the sea one day
Beautiful video images. Is diving with a spermwail dangerous? In a different video about spermwail they talked about the frequency of the sound waves. Some can blow out human eardrums.
2:03:55 so very beautiful 🐬 so swim with Mara ❣️
The current weather where I am is quite hot, that's why I really like to sink into the blue water of the ocean, I want to have sea creatures swimming around me, it feels so interesting. I like piano music combined with natural sounds even more
Super wonderful documentary about existing Predators, Gaints , and Marine Mammals in Mediterranean sea....thank you respectful (Get.factual) channel ...for sharing
Is the one dude trying to kiss the man driving boat? Personal space people!
Maybe there IS a need for background commentary to help tell the humpback whale's story.
Lol! Despite all the incredible work and effort put into making this awesome documentary, the narrator decides to call 'anemones' ..... "anna*moans" 😆 One job. He had one job. *chuckles* 😜
Loggerhead Turtles are reptiles, not amphibians - 14:09
Ah-nem-O-nee Anemone
Click click now y give hunter another 😮😢
I wonder why European people seem never scare nothing.
It's interesting who decides an animal should die from a snake bite & intervention should save an animal who's almost dead from shark attack, but has lost most of it's flippers, so will it ever be able to survive in the wild again?
Not criticizing, just curious decisions. 🐱🐱
I would guess it's due to the snake venom, causing necrotic damage throughout the victim via bloodstream vs shark bite, which may damage parts but not the entire system of its victim. Of course every case is different. And I'm no expert. 🦈
Turtles are reptiles not amphibians
Wrong. Tortoise are reptiles turtles are Amphibian.
@jenniferlehr2241 Incorrect, but thanks for playing. Give it a Goog's and you'll see. Or, look up a biology textbook online. Turtles are reptiles. How could two animals SO closely related be two entirely different Classes??
You're right. I probably should post when starting to nod off !
@@jenniferlehr2241 You should see what I've had to delete the next morning. I absolutely get it.
Do you hear that?
It’s the sound of nobody asking. Von you will always be wrong because you’re full of useless information that nobody cares about
Some things are really stupid.
Beautiful scenery, decent cinematography. However, you can always tell A I narration...
“Anna-moaney;”
*Try Anemone.* _(A I ist ein “dummkopf”)_
Then there’s the “needle in a ‘barn’”
*Try haystack*
And hatchling turtles are “amphibians...”
*Try reptiles*
*_Note to editors; always do your homework. A I doesn’t autocorrect errors. Everyone knows that A I is_** *“perfect.”*
😂
Don't be so hard on yourself!!
Maybe go listen to some soothing music. You'll be ok
1982 my longtime friend and I rent a boat from the rental place at the end of the wharf in Santa Cruz CA. at the north end of the Monterey Bay and found one of those Mola Mola sunfish things floating on its side about a mile straight out from Steamers Lane surfspot by the lighthouse. Scott had never seen one before and was determined to catch it somehow even though I told him they weren't edible, it was about 5 feet in diameter and had skin as thick as belt leather! The guy uses a gaff hook on a pole and he smacks it as hard as he can without hooking it and the fish turns upright and swims down real fast to about 20 feet deep them slowly swims back to almost right next to the boat and Scott smacks it again and hooks it and muscles it on board and immediately wishes he didn't! Huge fish lice rained into the boat about12 of them and the thing stank to high heaven! I was pissed at him for killing this fish for nothing and I had to laugh at the irony of his instant Karma!!
You talk too much
Only thing i don't like is when any of these wonderful animals end up dying because of something that stupid human beings have done to cause the death !!! PEOPLE need to take our given job seriously ! Humans are the zoo keepers of all creatures on earth wherever they are , in a zoo or in the wild
