Best places in Silay City

Silay City is also known as Paris of Negros. It's around 30 minutes away from Bacolod City in Negros Occidental. The airport (in Negros Occidental) is also located here.
Now why are people going to Silay City? Because for me, it's a fusion of the old and the new. Old because you can still see here many beautiful ancestral houses (since Spanish era). They also preserved their traditional delicacies. In addition, their culture is very rich here, such as their festivals etc. Every Barangay has it's own festival (no kidding).
New because the people are updated with the latest trends, while still preserving their traditions. We love exploring around because the roads are in good condition. When you go to their public plaza, there are lots of food stalls and coffee shops etc.
Another big plus of Silay is their natural resources. They have beautiful mountains, and rivers. Really amazing.
