WHAT MODS NEXT FOR MY MK2 AUDI TT 3.2 V6?

  • The TT has been with us for a while now. I thought I had done everything I wanted to get it into a decent condition. However, someone suggested getting the windows tinted. Now I always used to get the windows tinted on all my cars up until a few years back and then for some reason I became less concerned about getting it done. However, it does make a cool car look a little bit meaner. I'm probably way too old now to be messing with cars like this but who cares! Watch this video to see what else I should do...!!

    Only really needs the lowering springs, it just looks a tad on the high side. That said, I’m all about a useable ride height, but a small drop should be alright.

    Just started watching your videos recently since I just got a TT - love all the advice, thank you!! Haven’t seen all your mods; but my first mods within the next month will be - get windows tinted, spoiler and maybe the gas tank cover wrapped in a carbon fiber finish, hardwire a dashcam, and replace the stereo with an Apple CarPlay unit. Definitely going to replace the front grill; but I’m always worried to break things when it comes to body work so have been talking to a local Euro performance shop who says they’re able to do it just have to wait about 6-weeks since they’re really booked out.

  • @3.2vr6
    @3.2vr6 Před 3 lety

    I’ve had the chrome around the grill wrapped gloss black and happy with it. Did have an RS grill but it was the xenoz which now has the lower section different to the top section and just wasn’t the look I was after. It is built solid though. Had some fitted shades that upset rear dash cam so have since gone with rear tint. Presently let down on some Bilstien shocks turning up so claiming money back and ordering elsewhere. Otherwise have rear arb to fit, eibach springs with complete new hardware, front strut brace , anti lift, dogbone inserts, engine mount inserts. Looking into subframe locking kits hear good things about them. Just want to do it all in one hit with realignment also so building a lot up. You could go with getting TTS front & rear bumpers that would fit your twin exhaust outlets plus side skirts.

Should be really great once it's all done. With you on the RS grill. It's not an RS either so doesn't sit well with me. Hadn't thought about wrapping it but that sounds like a good idea. Cheers.

    Love your video ❤️ Well I would recommend the Honeycomb Mesh Euro TTRS Grille Black and an Emblem Black Gloss Audi Grill Ring Badge which all will match perfectly with the lower mesh air inlets. My TT got lower springs but when I decided for some spacer which gave a wider aggressive look I went back to normal springs and absorbers cause got little scratch noises driving fast in curves. Finally it depends you like it more wide or low. Anyway keep on doing the great work…
