You’ve got quite a rare box on your hands here. The TV Guide software running on this (3.3a.6) was only released to boxes from around April to September 2005 before being replaced with EPG 3.3b.5 which changed the visual style to a lighter blue background.

It’s amazing! I’ve got a Pace Box with this exact version. It’s probably the most major update in 2005 as well due to Radio channel numbers getting 4 digits, Parental Controls getting a major update and Picture settings getting a few tweaks. Mine is luckily still going strong as well.

This actually reminds me of when someone managed to get their old ONdigital box working. Of course, he didn't get any channels since the service has been dead for 20 years, but it was still a nostalgic thrill to see it all again.

Excellent video. That took me back. I completely forgot about the two card slots and the blue button favourite channels thing, always a handy shortcut. Sky Interactive was ahead of it's time, i remember you could even order your shopping from Iceland on there, and all this time i never realised Amstrad stood for Alan Michael Sugar Trading, now the name makes more sense lol. Also great to hear your voice :)

So you can only watch Sky Digital, Telewest Broadband and Freeview as well on TV.
Sky Digital doesn't have any viewing card.
So nostalgic. sky box It would work if you have a satellite connected to it.🤣🤣
Yeah, after making this video I figured out how it works - but I have no satellite to hook up to the box, so kind of pointless, unfortunately. 😄
