@@babetravelling I am going on greyhound the flixbus was ten dollars cheaper but two days vs 23 hours on greyhound but greyhound flixbus they all run together anyways they all use the same app bc greyhound owns the smaller bus compnays

Traveled from the border at San Ysidro/Tijuana to Los Angeles yesterday. A month ago, booked at 11:10 am departure scheduled to arrive at 3 pm. It was rescheduled twice and finally changed to a 12:45 pm departure. Bus driver arrived about 20 minutes late. Told passengers that they could sit anywhere, much to the disgruntlement of the few who paid extra to book a specific seat. Bus didn't get to Union Station until after 6 pm. She actually spent an hour driving surface streets from Huntington Beach to Long Beach. About 15 miles in heavy boulevard traffic. Claimed it was somehow faster than the freeway. What a nightmare. Flixbus' prices rise constantly. Same trip was half the price as recently as last year. It's getting more and more expensive as the quality of the ride decreases.
That was a nightmare story. Recently I tried greyhound using the same route but I stepped out of SD downtown. It arrived on time but was a few minutes late arrival. Didn’t think of it… I’m sorry you had to go through that. Thanks for sharing & glad u r safe on ur travels 🥰
Surface streets were faster than the bus lane on the freeway, really? Google maps usually assumes you're driving alone, not HOV lanes

Just got on the Flix Bus at the downtown Union Station, and the driver informed us that the restroom was not working, our assigned row #20 doesn't exist, only 15 rows! and bus is utterly filthy!!

Things 2 consider bee4 and after choosing yur seet:
1. Sit in the middle (gangstas and thugs, and hoes mostly in da back) if u in head on crash likely survivor also.
2. Make sure your outlet works ASAP.
3. Try not to eat or drink if you can help it so you aren't forced to use da tiny and smelly Restroom. If you have to go try to hold it til a stop so you don't bounce around.
4. As soon as you pick your seat, recline all da way before someone sits behind and you don't have to ask for their permission.
5. If whacko sits behinds you, (ie canadian greyhound decap.) move don't give them your back if you can help it.

Nice, I'm taking the early morning Surfliner up to SLO in a couple weeks, I didn't know Flixbus goes there though.
That bus 508 you got on in the beginning is currently sitting for the past month in our shop. Company is too cheap repair the transmission. Also all the flixbuses I've worked on are infested with cockroaches.
i though flixbus does not have their own buses but just hires them unlike greyhound...is this true?
I just hope if I ever get a chance to ride Flixbus that it's not like Megabus. Megabus was my only experience with riding a bus and it didn't go very well.

Good vid. What are your thoughts about Greyhound being bought by Flixbus and the closing of Greyhound bus terminals that had shelter and restrooms and having them placed in open air areas with no amenities? That doesn't sound like good business sense to me.

I was in the right spot they sent it on an Email and me and the other couple got the same email we seen on the app the bus was stop for long time somewhere and suddenly jumped from our stop and keep going to San Diego

That’s a small bus. I travel mostly in Europe and here the buses are huge and spacey and very new!!!!!
It took me awhile to think if I did try a bus in Europe 🤔 mostly trains in Western Europe and only once for a regular commute in Turkey. Can’t wait to try your flixbus 🥰

Sorry my experience was terrible the bus never showed up leaving 3 people stranded at bus stop I was 15 min early to departure I call costumer service an hour later and they said to wait 20 more min I ask for a refund and they said the bus was on schedule which it’s a lie for not give a return I finish riding the train 4 hrs later don’t take chances if you have to go to your destination on time good luck

We where a the right spot other bus stop there I get it on an email from flixbus we see on there app that the bus was somewhere else for long time and later same app the bus was already on his way to San Diego never stopped at Anaheim was on time arriving at San Diego without us

F;lixBus left me in Phoenix Az (I live in Tucson) I was on my way to San Antonio Tx to meet a friend to see a concert. After sitting 2 1/2 hours at a close4d bus station atb 4:30 in the moerning I wAS Told my bus was canceled. I wAS put on a bus to Phoenix and tolad there I misses my next bus because the bus I was on was late. After over 4 hoursying to argue with nearly impossible to contact customer service I was told I would not get a refund of any kind for my round trip $230 bus ticket and I wAS not even going to get a ride back to tucson or anywhere elde. I am a 62 yrar old woman and I had $9 to my name and I had to hitch hike home. I AM PISSED

They ruined my weekend and ripped me off. I am a 62 year old disabeled woman. I saved for months for this trip. I was robbed and no one will help me get my money back. FlixBus turned my first vacation EVER into a nightmare. I am going to have to get a lawyer and take them ro court. I am beyond upset! FlixBus should be shut down. They are a rip off@@babetravelling
Costumer service says that other people took the bus there but was only 3 of us I arrived 15 min before the departure time and the couple was there all ready so on order to missed the bus the bus was a list 30 min before Departure time but that not happen in the app the bus was on route stranded somewhere and missed our stop just to arrive at destination on time plus a call costumer service after one hour and they tell me to wait another 20 min and after 20 min not answer the phone so I finished buying a train ticket ( the couple left on the train before we because I lose my chance to take the same train because I was on the phone with costumer service) I am a senior with a walker low income and I have to pay again and they don’t refund my ticket because the bus was on schedule to San Diego you believe that I never used the bus again the train was almost the same price

I prefer Flix because they are newer buses but sometimes people are accustomed to Greyhound so they prefer it. Also schedule plays a part in choosing 😊

How come you're never onboard when I take Flixbus. You're a virtual goodwill ambassador, greeting passengers, giving suggestions on how to sit more comfortably, and even handing out bottled water. Flixbus should let you ride for free.

worst Bus Company ever, I cancelled a booking within 3 days and 7 days. without mentioning they deduct almost %40. This is a steal. Horrible

Former USMC. I traveled in the past it was ok. I like the assigned seats. But the BUS STATION IN TAMPA, FL IS UNDER A BRIDGE. Bus drivers that stopped there didn't give a SHI* about answering costumer's questions. That's what our money is worth and our value and our safety. I took a trip to Knoxville TN. In Atlanta our trip was canceled after being there 9 hours with bus 0105 canceled 2xs. They offered a Voucher or Reassigned your route for another time. HOW convenient as a smart A** remark. NEVER AGAIN SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TAKE A SAFER ROUTE.
