- Badd Medicine here and its Conjuring reaction time
In 1977, paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren come out of a self-imposed sabbatical to travel to Enfield, a borough in north London. There, they meet Peggy Hodgson, an overwhelmed single mother of four who tells the couple that something evil is in her home. Ed and Lorraine believe her story when the youngest daughter starts to show signs of demonic possession. As the Warrens try to help the besieged girl, they become the next targets of the malicious spirit.

Could you guys please watch this tv show called Shadowhunters? I want to see ur reactions.
wheres the apple and Dave
if the full crew was in here watching it was gonna be so fun too watch but its still rlly fun best reaction channel ever
A heavily documented "True" event.
You can even see and read up on it for yourselves. This entire event was heavily documented, with the Police seeing the things themselves and could not explain it... one of the rare events of having evidence and professional witnesses, multiple press agency recorded events as well as the police, Photo's, Voice recordings and video. Lots of people believed it was the girl pulling pranks but most things were unexplainable.
@BaddMedicine
I dont know if yall caught this or knew this but if you look closely at the scene where Lorraine was sitting in a chair with her bible, there are letters on the bookcase beside her. The letters spell VALAK.
"..I finally found someone who believed me"
"What did you do then?"
"I married him."
Honestly one of my favourite quotes from a movie, which is why the whole Conjuring franchise is one of my favourite love stories 😂
Honestly their marriage is my relationship goal
@@youtubewontletme on screen, right? cuz off screen they were pretty much the definition of toxic 💀
@@MrGrinch17 wym?
@@francoisssangma996 eddie cheated on her multiple times
I'm late but he was also a pedo@@MrGrinch17
The crooked man is the scariest thing in any horror movie for me. I was seriously freaked by him.
And that fucking song. 😱
😂😂😂😂
@@BaddMedicine are you guys going to watch the whole Conjuring universe if so you guys should go buy release order
The Crooked Man was an actual actor.
I hear his movements were filmed in reverse, which made it look so awkward and choppieish.
Then get ready for his own movie next year!!
The ending how the mom died in the same spot is actually terrifying. I’m not a believer in ghosts but that it is weird.
It really is
fun fact. early in the movie when lorraine is sitting by the bookshelf theres ornamental letters spelling out Valak. I remember noticing it in the cinema and getting the craziest goosebumps after the reveal of the name.
Her daughter is making a bracelet that also says it and some letters next to the dinner table! Pretty neat!
@@emilylatham1227 never noticed, nice
Well spotted
Valaks name actually appears throughout the entire franchise in other movies like conjuring one and Annabell their picture also appears in at least one other movie crazy how it all just leads up to their big reveal.
I noticed that too! Although I forgot what order the letters were so near the end I blurted out Vakla 🤣
I preferred this one to the first. They got me a couple times with the jump scares. Also I appreciated that this family was smart enough to actually get out of the house.
The thing with the first and it was stated is the fact that those demons attach themselves to you, even if you were to leave, the demon would still latch onto you wherever you go
When they sprinted out of the house, my mom and I burst out laughing. The rest of the theater was silent but she and I watch A TON of horror movies and our never makes sense that they never at least try to escape.
@@kanezagar5780 I would still take my chances and leave the house
@Stephen C Congratulations not only did the demon follow you, now you have to pay for a perfectly fine house that you're not even living in
@@joshuasimber8588 i wouldn't call a demon infected house perfectly fine my friend
Ed Warren is a 70-80s dad, He can fix everything 😂 plumbing, piping, house electricity, farming and much more
The scene at 23:35 with the "interview" of Bill Wilkins is one of my favorite scenes, cinematography wise...that shallow depth of field technique which allowed them to turn Janet into Bill but just out of focus the whole time was masterful
The guy who plays Ed Warren in these movies also played on The Phantom Of The Opera. I love the fact that he sings on this movie as well.
The boys should react to PotO !! 😁
@@user-A488 I agree with you. Then they can really hear that he's a great singer.
I forgot he was Raoul in the movie...
Woah didn’t expect to see the second movie reaction😂 but this one is my favorite because it actually like so accurate to the story itself. The acting is so good too
This was a fun one
The cops actually witnessing paranormal activity is the most unbelievable part of the movie....and hilariously, one of the thing's that's true! Actual cops on record for the actual case the movie is based on reported seeing/hearing paranormal activity at the Hodgson's. Hey, they could have been seeing things, but it's wild that they saw anything at all
Oak is out there solving some paranormal mysteries and collecting data
I bet hahaha
We sent him on a ghost hunt. Oak likes adventures 😅😂
@@BaddMedicine Like Frodo and Bilbo😆
Nah, Oak is probably out there playing Quidditch!
@@sunshinemerlot9790 come on let's be honest...he's probably leading the rebellion against the capitol after winning the hunger games...
The fact it’s based on a true story and they show the pictures and recording at the end really freaked me out whilst watching this
15:58 "just nunchalantly walks away" lmao
The nun/demon introduced here is the scariest horror movie character for me personally xD
The scene with her in the library is the loudest I’ve ever screamed haha.
what makes it scary for you?
@@paulelroy6650 Valak’s face creeps me out more than most monster faces I’ve seen. Valak’s shriek terrifies me
@@hathbeenslain it's because of the nun attire ... I don't think anyone had brought the idea of making a demon version of a nun before so that was very original.
Yeah this one genuinely scared me. They should’ve just kept her for this scene, because the Nun was horrible
@@Azarath_Metrion_Zinthos the demon entity took on the form as an insult to the Lady Mary and worshippers of God. And even Lorraine in the movie said "you are Valak the defiler"
The girl playing Janet is American. She did a really good british accent here.
When Ed/Patrick sings i cried that moment is the best moment in the entire conjuring saga for me.
This was so fun. If you are doing the whole saga, i will be here to watch. They are really entertaining for horror movies and you can see that they treated the Warren's story with respect in every movie.
Agreed!
15:58 - "Just *Nun* chalantly walks away"
I'm sorry guys, I had to
I do like that the movies show the actual photos at the end.
15:49 Did you guys notice there is name of demon "VALAK" kept in letters on the wall?
Omg I just noticed that
Just finishing the video now. I remember learning about this case when I started getting interested in paranormal cases growing up. Several years later when I saw this movie I had a feeling it was the same case. I couldn't remember the family's name but I remembered the kids in the photos and their accounts. I think they did a great job with the story.
the crooked man's music box was the object that was infested in the house. every time the children played they invoked the devil. The reason for taking the toy at the end is that a cursed item cannot be burned or destroyed. Often the devil hides in innocent looking things, otherwise you wouldn't get close. The real anabelle wasn't ugly.
I love Patrick Wilson!! He and his family are from the Tampa Bay area, and I had the pleasure of meeting him and his family when they came to our church and gave us a concert. His dad was the lead anchor on the local news for years. Patrick has such great acting skills, and sings beautifully, not to mention how handsome he is!! I don't know if you guys do any reactions to series, but he is the main character in the second season of Fargo, and he's great in it!!
Haunting of Hill House have really great child actors and the whole series is just amazing
Why are more people not digging for this! This is the perfect crew for that show!!
I was afraid you wouldn’t continue this saga which gave me nun phobia haha. I can’t be more happy to be wrong. I hope Oak will keep up though. Let’s go! 💪🏻👏🏻
Haha 🤘😁 let's goooooo! Hope you enjoy.
The Conjuring 2 is one of my favorite horror movies of all time! So glad you guys are reacting to it
I'm so happy you guys are watching this! Started with the harry potter series and now I'm addicted to your channel! Keep it up guys ✨️
I just want to say I love how much fun you're having with your thumbnails lately 😂
You guys reacting as a duo have such great energy together. The movie was such a spine-crawling and amazing one indeed.
I missed the rest of you guys . Please guys have your whole team.
That nun is one of the scariest characters in this movie-verse not to mention the crooked man thing. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga really make these movies something special.
Patrick has done theatre and can actually sing!!! He has a great voice!
Omg answer being excited is everything 😂
If you guys are enjoying the Conjuring universe, I highly recommend watching Annabelle: Creation. It's about the origin story of the creepy possessed doll seen in the beginning of the first Conjuring movie, really well made and has some great scares!
My personal choice for scariest movie in the conjuring universe
I love Annabelle creation so much! The director is ponny smasher, and he implemented a lot of scares that he originally had in his short movies into the movie itself. It's SO good!
Is it weird tht I'm enjoying watching the movies rhrough these reactions more than the movie itself? 😂
"It's so small and light!" 🤣
First: I just loooove this movie.
Secondly: Love that you are doing these and your reactions are awesome as always.
THIRD AND CERTAINLY NOT LEAST: THE INTRO EDITING IS AMAAAAZING.
Hey I started watching for walking dead reactions but y'all are probably my favorite reaction channel now keep it up
Lets GOOOOO!
Omg i was just thinking about hoping you guys would do the conjuring 2!!
you guys make me have a great time 24/7, keep it up!
The girl that played Janet, Maddison Wolfe, is actually American. She did a brilliant job with the British accent!
I remember when this was happening, you couldn’t pick up a paper without seeing the picture of Janet levitating. He red night gown became a fashion statement for young girls. Patrick Wilson is a singer… he’s been in Broadway musicals. Well respected.
What I do not like about these films is how they portray Ed Warren as the leader of the duo and he always saves the day and Lorraine is the church mouse wife who stands behind her husband while he gets all of the glory. That was so wrong in real life. Lorraine was the one with the gift, not Ed. I can’t believe mom continued to live where she and her children were terrorized by the entity. That would be a HELL to the F’ing NO for me.
Janet grew up acting kind of strange. I think it was because of all of the unwanted publicity and she being actually shy. I saw an interview with her as an adult… all I can say is, “Janet, find a hair brush. You lookin’ ragged!!!
Great reactions, guys!!! Next time try “Stake Land”. It’s way scarier.
The name of there Nun (Valak) is spelled out in letters on the bookshelf in Lorraines den.
Love Vera Farmiga in the TV series Bates Motel, its a prequel to the Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho from 1960. Really incredible show.
So glad you guys decided to dive into this one, can't wait to see this one.
30:10 going swimming with ghosts 😂
Watched this in the cinema, i noticed the VALAK wooden letters on the bookshelf and the letter beads bracelet.. GOT MAJOR CHILLS when Lorraine solved the riddle and revealed the name..
I didn’t know how she did it at first
But I got it after the 3rd watch
one point, did you know the name VALAK appears throughout the movie in Lorraine's house? On the shelf, in the kitchen, in the necklace her daughter is making, it's an easter egg!
the crooked man is an actual actor, javier botet, who is actually trained to move like that, so although it looks cartoony. it is all real!
I remember I watched this one on theater, alone. Instantly became one of my favorites. The first one was alright, but this one creepier for me. Oh and the gun sound stays in my head after I left the studio so that's nice 🙃 anyway, you guys are awesome 🥺
The Crooked Man scene is the scariest thing I've ever seen! The Crooked Man is absolutely terrifying! 😳
I just want to say I love you guys and the jump scares :D
Just got out of school this reaction is going to make my day
The Conjuring Movies in Chronological Order
The Nun (2018)
Annabelle: Creation (2017)
Annabelle (2014)
The Conjuring (2013)
Annabelle Comes Home (2019)
The Curse of La Llorona (2019)

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
And good news The Nun 2 comes out September 2023. The Conjuring 4 is in preproduction and will be the final Conjuring movie
Yes the nun is a part of the conjuring series great movie! They are making a nun 2 comes out 9-8-2023. So is the crooked man, haven’t seen that one yet.
Oak got so scared last time he didn’t join for 2nd part 😂😂😂😊
A reaction to Children of Men (2006) would be fantastic
Thank u for this reaction. I had a really good time re watching the conjuring 2 with you!
Thank you for watching. We appreciate it 🤙
Lol the jump scare got me in the intro lol 😭😂
Sinister is a pretty eery, creepy and gory horror movie
The other connection between the Conjuring movies and the Insidious movies is that James Wan worked on both. So in a way they are connect by more than just Patrick Wilson.
Your content and reactions are so great thank you!
This movie and actually the whole conjuring universe including “Annabelle” which is also great, are the scariest horror films I have ever seen!
We might save that one for next Halloween 😁😁
@@BaddMedicine ok cool!
Patrick Wilson has a beautiful voice and if you ever watch Phantom of the Opera, where Gerard Butler plays the Phantom, you'll hear just how gorgeous his voice is?
The nun scene where she's at the end of the hallway made my heart stop when I saw it in the theatre
I'm super desensitized to horror, but I love to live vicariously through reactions like these 😁 This movie is deliciously freaky!
Its very cool. There is a tv interview with the police that said they witnessed that chair moving across the floor
Part 3 is really great!! And the movie The Nun is great also knowing the girl from The Nun and Loraine from conjuring are real life sisters so great!!
So excited for this reaction though!
I never seen Quinn get scared! 12:15 looked legit!
There’s footage of the policewoman on CZcams, telling how she saw the chair slide across the floor.. 😬
Well fun fact this is a museum in usa which has all the things collected by Warrens until last few years it was open for public but I think now it's closed and Anabella is also there it is taken care by Warrens daughter and her husband
It was in their basement, thought it still was
@@relent-lass7510 Yes it was but I read online that they had to closed it before covid because they violated some govt rules in terms of starting museum at residential area I'm not sure if i just read
Conjuring 2 is also very amazing movie
Now you guys can look at the real footage 😊
The warren’s daughter is still there and still runs the museum they have of all the haunted items they collected. She’s married to someone who used to work with the Warren’s before they died.
You guys should check out Sinister. One of my favorite horror movies!!
Oh boy that scene in the backyard with Boards of Canada playing that creepy damn song and the guy burning the stuff. I'm a horror person through and through and that movie still gets me.
You guys are awesome, great reaction
😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤missed the 3rd member….still love ur reaction guys
I love how it spells out Valak’s name throughout the movie
when The Answer referred to the TV remote as a clicker I got hit with so much nostalgia from when I was a kid
That was a big remote
I have loved everyone of the movies. I've watched in order of released dates and the chronological order to watch them in.
If you guys are doing anymore scary themed stories, I would really love to see the crew react to the Haunting of Hill House, because I think it’s an incredibly power story with a beautiful message that’s all wrapped up in a refreshing take on what “horror” means.
The crooked man was the scariest part for me lol
You can also look up the actual interview with the possessed girl! Called the "Janet and Margaret Hodgson Interview".
I have to see your guys reaction to the 3rd Conjuring movie now!!!!
Where is Oak?? 😢 need all three !
That was so much fun to watch with !!❤
You guys should watch The Spiderwick Chronicles!!!
You'll love it, fantasy merged with modern day. It's amazing!
I think the two films are very good but both have their differences and here's why
In the first film we are shown the work that Ed and Lorraine Garren do, dealing with spirits and sorcery. But already in the second film they show us the devil what is like the Antithesis of the Warrens and their fight against the devil, in fact the producers explain it well in The Nun. And that's why I really like this saga, I like how the producers and directors decided to tell the story of the Warrens through the films The Conjuring and Anabelle and how they intertwine with each other.
And besides, I really liked your reaction to the movie.
Fun fact: Vera Farmiga's sister played The Nun.
12:10 scared me SO much when I saw this in theaters. I seriously shrieked audibly and jumped. 🤣🤣
You guys should watch; The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Penny Dreadful
Yes the haunting of hill house!!!
I will say about the Amityville murders the only thing that’s really weird is that no one heard the gunshots. He killed several people on the same floor. And no one woke up and tried to run or get up. Everyone was in their beds that’s weird
The real story of this is actually really interesting and weirdly sweet. The Warrens were there for about a day and showed up uninvited. The real heroes are Maurice Gross and Guy Playfair. The entire thing lasted 19 months. It was crazy-Legos and marbles flying, the scary old man voice, dancing knives, shit smearing the walls and so much more. Guy Playfair wrote a really neat book about it. Enfield is one of the most well-documented paranormal investigations in existence
Fun fact (doesnt change how amazing and scary the movies r obv): the warrens were investigated like 6 years ago and proven as fakes. The original family from one of the big cases admitted to being paid bc they knew a massive story would lead to success and more money. And the Enfield one as well as 80% of their cases (bc they have that many they werent investigated for all bc obv we just assume 100% of them were fake bc 80% was hence no more investigation), were also faked or made up
So the Warren's didn't say very long to help just 1 day?
@@itzbp9949 Yeah. The Warren's involvement was highly dramatized. Guy Playfair also said that Ed told him they could make a lot of money off of the case
@@emilylatham1227 I heard about that part but i don't know if that part is true the warrrens helped a lot of people with a lot of hauntings
I loved this movie more than part 1. Great sequel.
This is my personal favorite movie the conjuring 2 in the conjuring universe followed by Annabelle comes home.
They have the cops on film saying what they saw in the house. Google lol
I've watched the biography thing of the Warrens. If there was any couple that has ever been a pair of soul mates it is them
No Valak IS the nun. He takes the form of a nun.
I prefer the first movie. Maybe this one had more scares for people. But the first one had a more charming and captivating unfolding of the story....for me.
What is it with parents never believing their kids when it comes to the paranormal
Until something happens to them
Your child is scared (sometimes terrified)
Advice to parents..LISTEN and give them the benefit of doubt, don’t dismiss it
You guys have to watch the Annabelle movies! They're a part of the Conjuring Universe, you'd love it!
