man, after seeing videos like this I am now convinced that single piece follower panels like you have on a mcneilus or a heil suck ass. I can make the arm fly and load my ZR just as quick as this guy, but the packer keeps getting jammed up because of crap riding on the follower and not sliding down to where it can get crushed. I sometimes haft to stop, reverse and slam on my brakes hard just to get crap to slide off and down just to catch it up. Seeing a segmented and hinged "roll up garage door" style follower with a scraper just make me wish the companies I work for would quit buying junk trucks with shity design choices that slow me down. I did get to drive an automizer briefly once with this style packer, and it was the best thing ever, man I miss that truck.
The effect of the material dropping down off of the follower panel during the retract of the pack cycle is critical. @KFCorBust would appreciate your last sentence lol

What do you mean by "specialized route"? What was different about this route?
This was a special operations route from the city where only one commodity was placed out to the density and style of the neighborhood. they are unique run routes sometimes done by smaller (20 yd) automated side loaders
