Ahhhh the morning has come and I'm making this right now!!!! I wasn't going to do the cinnamon sugar until my husband say the pictures. I'm sweet and sour and he is just sour! Tatyana you have bought him to the dark side!!!!🥳 Thank you for this taste of happiness🥰 OMG these were incredible!!! I loved the nutmeg in the sugar mixture. My husband wanted me to make a second batch so we could have them during the week. Y'all have to treat yourselves to this great recipe.

For your viewers who can’t find buttermilk - buttermilk and Kefir are the same thing. They can also dilute plain yogurt with a little water and they will make buttermilk.

I'm trying it next time I make waffles, thanks for this new twist for me.
What I also do to make buttermilk when I run out is that I add white vinegar to my milk and let it sit for about 10 minutes, it works for me with no issues.
On a side note Tatyana, I tried emailing you but nothing goes through.

Could you pre-mix the sugar and put it into a shaker and sprinkle it onto the buttered waffles and use a melted butter in a sprayer? Easier to apply bigger batches. FYI that looks incredible :)

Question, by putting Lemon 🍋 Juice in your Milk 🥛 to make Butter 🧈 Milk, can you taste the Lemon 🍋?
Jackie Barnes I have been making buttermilk like that for years and I have not noticed any lemon flavour in my baking. You can also use vinegar if you are out of lemons. Hope that helps. Happy baking!
