I just bought the same car month ago and it is PHENOMENAL CAR you can't believe it until you drive it, like this on some mountain road, actually it is a pleasure to drive it on any road :). you can't stop smiling while driving it.

I love the fact that you do not use the paddle shifters.
It lets the viewer appreciate how the car manages the speed changes.
Its way better than trying to shift better than the car.

I own one, had a small software tune done and you will never want to drive another car. Its an suv on the outside but a hot hatch when u drive

I own an X5 F15 2.0 diesel full option (+90k euro), it's a beautiful and impressive car design-wise, but no pleasure at all in terms of driving (too big and heavy).
Every time I look at a Stelvio, I say to myself I should have gone with the Alfa, in turbo benzine.

The engine seems very strong and rev happy.. and ok sound for at 4 pot
It's a 4 pot, but because it has a turbo, you'll need a good natural aspirated 4500cc V8 to actually beat it in power delivery below 2000 rpms.

this is the propper way to test an Alfa. How did the brakes respond? any fading?
Holy cow those how sleeps on the street ahead of you😮 what is the noise or sound it makes when you brake infront of the turns?
Probably the only vodeo that shows the stelvio 280 handling in turns... Thanks for sharing! Tell us more about the understeer feel, is it possible to balance it well with clean driving, or the 4WD makes it nose heavy? Does it feel anything like a rear wheel drive as Alfa claims? Are the breaks up to the job?
665Thunder I can’t speak for the reviewer, but I drove one myself last month and was astounded at the handling. It feels light, low-slung, agile and very balanced (which it is, being a 50:50 weight distribution). The AWD system was also excellent; it sent power to the rears quickly and the LSD hooked up beautifully, so you could carry lots of speed into corners then jump on the power early and just slingshot out. I felt no understeer - it was virtually like a BMW 3 Series. :)

does this also accelerate from 5 - 60 mph (8 - 96.5 km/h) in 6.6 seconds like the giulia that C&D just tested?
We can only tell you that that the Alfa Stelvio 2.0 Turbo (280 PS) accelerates in 5,7 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. (Christian)

This drive was already 5 years ago. I can't remember. The drive in the video would also not be representative of a real average consumption. It would be very individual. But it was fun. 😄 (Christian)

Der Alfa Stelvio 2.0 Turbo geht echt gut voran und bietet eine Menge Fahrspaß. Aber der Stelvio Quadrifoglio wird auch noch kommen! (Christian)

Noch nicht als Video, da der Stelvio Quadrifoglio erst einmal vorgestellt bzw. auf den Markt kommen muss. Aber Alfa kündigte den Stelvio Quadrifoglio bereits an. Der Stelvio mit 510 PS klingt nach verdammt brutalem Fahrspaß. (Christian)

The POV video was produced in 2017. It should be the Alfa Romeo Stelvio First Edition. That was the only trim you can order, when Alfa Romeo launched the car. (Christian)

When you hit the brakes hard enough, the hazard lights come on. This is what you hear. Not the turn signal.

Sorry, wegen Fahrten wie dieser werden die Pässe für normale Fahrer gesperrt. Schade, dein Alfa hätt's auch irgendwo ins Holz stellen können und kompostieren 🤣.
Auf der Strecke wurde im Rahmen der vorgeschriebenen Tempolimits gefahren.
Aber definitiv nicht sauber was Linienwahl und Lenkradhaltung betrifft....
