Hull c is the only ship I keep the slowest quantum drive because It feels differently from other ships. With a 10/15 mn trip, you have the time to do really something else and leave your chair.
Use the c2 personal salvage missions to get the free cargo, just costs a 30k fee. Did it with a c2 which is 690scu or so. Half the issue was not having space for the cheaper goods so you end up tossing them. You could probably load 1000-1200scu an hour.
they really should just give you a menu inside your ship so you can buy and sell while in your space truck,
The Hull C has so much potential, I'm just waiting for the gameplay as shown in the trailer when they released the ship. I know we'll get there it just may take some time...

That looks like what I'd like to do in the game... have a couple large cargo haulers and truck goods around the system. Space age takeoff on the old "Tramp Steamer" or Trucker, or the friends who team up and repair an old PB-Y, and take on jobs of convenience.
or you could just do vaughn missions and find 7+mils worth of eggs in the ships

Freelancer had super fun trade mechanics on the Crossfire Server. 25% return isn't bad for safe, legal grindage. SC will be better. KoT DG.
Last few weeks have made the idea of trading impossible for me. Time/fun to risk ratio is far too poor. Risk is sooo high, many players would come and fuck you up just for a laugh. Attacking a trade ship should be somehow extremely risky.
The only problem with very public, static cargo routes, is you're also giving your plan to all the pirates on the server. I'm looking forward to Quantum, where mining ties into demand, and we're competing with NPC ships, which will serve as an appetising decoy.

I did 3 routes and then my Hull C quantumed without me. I suicided and couldn't open the door in New Babbage. I suicided again, got the shuttles and none of them worked, either side. Never came. Sat for 10 minutes. Ive lost more money than I've made with my newly purchases Hull C. Probably trading it in at IAE
3.22 here. There is just one tiny thing missing: You can't freaking unload the ship in order to get your money! I've been trying for 20 hours now. This game is making me so mad!

I make Much more just doing my own run in the C2. I invest 1.5 Mil and make 400.000 after sale.
I'd stay away from this ship right now. It's ability to get stuck at docking ports forcing you to claim the ship full of cargo and trade panels not recognizing the ship is game breaking. Especially when the cargo can cost in the millions.
If I wanted to see the original video, I would have just watched it... SMH

Hull C is one of the biggest disappointments. And that’s saying something among CIG’s long list of disappointments.
