@@grim8391 For sure! It is very different though. The dynamics are so deep, And the sound is very balanced. I've been using Nexus and serum for so long, that when I'm using Spectrasonics I'm having to manage all of the low in frequencies coming from it. The instruments put out so much more sound than a lot of standard VST's, But it's natural and very mid bassey too. Keyscape is really easy to use and there's basically no learning curve.. I found that Omnisphere Does take a little bit of practice but not too much. It feels like I own a bunch of hardware synth xD

I was in love with Keyscape since I saw a trailer for it and I want to get my hands on it one day when I'll get myself a better PC for producing music, and most importantly, one with waaaay more space on my hard drives. As of now, I use Addictive Keys and for a smaller library, it still does it's job pretty good, even if it has way less instruments sampled.

Kacepru use whatever works! I own lounge lizard ep-4, which is $99, and I still think it’s a great plugin, even though it’s older and there are better things. In a multi-track song, it’s sometimes impossible to tell the difference. Or at least it’s negligible. Thanks for watching.

What I'm really missing from this video is that you didn't show us what notes are being played I'm trying to copy your style for months now you are an amazing player no matter if it's just a "'piano" or it's an "Organ" "Funky Clavinet" anything you are killing all of the instruments so cool to hear you play on the fly.

Thank you. I liked your comments and you gave us some short clips of tasty playing. The only thing I'll add - and, of course, it's now a couple years later, so you may now know - the clavichord. Not a novelty instrument. Think of it as a "pre-piano" used in renaissance and baroque times. I think if you place in its historical context, you can begin to appreciate its sound more.

You do not need Kontakt. It is its own host software. It works standalone and within your DAW. It requires more than 8GB of RAM, but it's not heavy on CPU at all.

Great playing with this great Keyscape software! Wich DAW are you using and wich soundcard/module to bring this sound to life. Do you have latency issues...?

Hans thank you! I use Logic Pro, Cubase Pro, and occasionally Pro Tools. I have no latency issues whatsoever.

Hans forgot to mention, I use an apogee element 46, but I record lots of audio from mics and keyboards.

Ah, one of the key elements is to have a good soundmodule, and thats what you have! Thanks!

hi, really like your videos. One thing I've found with Keyscape is the mic positions seem too close on many of the patches. Playing solo sounds great, but in song arrangements I find I want the piano to have a bit of distance from the mics... any thoughts??

      Add some careful reverb/ambience?

Add some gentle room reverb and use an equalizer to roll off trebles a bit.

Keyscape's Grand piano's sound nice, but I think Native Instruments Noire sounds even better if you're looking for a very beautiful yamaha grand piano.. buy Keyscape if you're looking for other instruments than a Grand piano as well..
