- Here are 15 places to eat on Carnival Sunrise. In April 2019, Carnival Sunrise completed a 60-day dry dock that added a variety of new venues.
Along with the dry dock came new and refurbished dining venues. Some venues Carnival Triumph already had before the $200 million dry dock, others are brand new to the ship. Also, Lucky Bowl Asian is a concept that is brand new to Carnival Cruise Line.

During the refurbishment, the ship saw improvements and additions to the lido deck marketplace, Lucky Bowl Asian, Carnival Deli, Pizzeria del Capitano, Seafood Shack, Guy's Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, Cucina del Capitano, Guy's Pig & Anchor Smokehouse, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse, Chef's Table, Bonsai Sushi, Jave Blue Cafe, and a reconfiguration of the main dining rooms.

Carnival Sunrise is based in New York City for the Summer 2019 and will reposition to Fort Lauderdale in Fall 2019 where she will spend the winter season.

The ship looks amazing in the back. I never would have thought taking out the retractable roof would be better, BUT it looks really nice. Great footage of the Sunrise.
@@ItsJason412 Thank you. It really does open the back of the ship up a bit. They said they took it off because the ship won't be sailing in weather where they need it. I disagree with that because if it's going to continue to go to Canada/New England, it gets chilly up that way in early spring and late summer.

We just disembarked last week and I agree, we loved the food options. We actually checked in for anytime dining on the app and it worked really well. We received a notification when our table was ready and we walked right up

I cruised on the Sunrise on May 17th 2019 I truly enjoyed the ship as well as all the food options. I tried everything but didn’t make it to the seafood shack 😞 guys burgers is awesome and so is pig and anchor (with a dash of salt added to the side items) pizza line is always ridiculous especially at night. All and all it’s a great experience and you won’t be disappointed

i am booked on this ship for 12 day journey cruise, i love the way this ship looks, i was not sure if there was a library on the ship, just got off the horizon, the library was always full. anyhow, i am looking forward to my first long cruise, after the 15day was cancelled i booked this ship it is smaller, but like the way the older carnival ships are,thanks for the videos,keep up the good work, i will book the Mardi gras and radiance next.

New subbie. Great video. Going on my 15th cruise on Sunrise Nov 16th. Just recently realized that it's the Triumph revamped. I was on the Triumph last year when my boyfriend and I almost broke up and again the year before with my mom when one of the engines went out and we got back a day late. Hoping 3rd time's a charm. LOL

The main dining room has vegetarian options and will set up a menu to suit your needs no matter what they are allergies ect.

Doug... Im very concerned with all the negative reviews of the sunrise.
@@deidresmith9698 I dont have much experience since the Sunrise was my first Carnival experience, but my wife and I loved it! 14 day Panama Canal cruise in May 2019. We are also looking to go back on it in Sept 2020 for a 9 day cruise to Bermuda and Turks. Not a big fan of Lucky Bowl, it's more like 3 different noodle soups. I loved the pizza and deli. My wife loved the Blue Iguana Cantina. She made a burrito bowl nearly every day lol. I also liked the pasta bar, but only went once because theres so much to choose from!

I’m going on this ship in May, kind of sad they don’t have many vegetarian options. Wish instead of 3 options of meat based tacos they had at least one veggie option. Having the same fruits, salads, & pizza will get boring! :(

Hey Shawn. You may want to double check your statement. I just got off of Carnival Sunrise last week there were salads, wraps, and items that were included in your cruise fare from 6 am til 10 pm, along with for-fee items. Thank you for watching.
I haven’t been on a cruise since 2015. I go on the Sunrise in October. Glad to hear this because carnival made an announcement back in November by their brand ambassador John Heald that they are going to start charging. Maybe they didn’t go through with it. Awesome. I loved your video
