Invisible Toadstool They mentioned that the songs are a lot to do with the kids who don't have a voice in the youth. Basically a fancy way of saying the unpopular kids in school. Some people don't get it since they weren't that kind of kid, which is totally fine, but for those of us who did, you get a lot of bottled up feelings (typical hormonal stuff anger, depression, and stress). These songs are supposed to represent how those kinds of kids feel inside. Kinda emo, but it hits the nail on the head pretty damn well.

GetScaredGaming well in their defense I don't think Jason was like "Can I PLEASE PLEASE PLEEEEEEASE put a solo in this song?", and they were all like "NO! YOU CAN ONLY SHRED IN THESE SONGS!" Then Jason was like :'(.
I'm sure he wanted to make sure he fitted in with their style so he just put some grooves and solos in a couple songs and was satisfied.
