- Cold and harsh winter has reached the old Viking county of Danmark.
Maybe this will be a long and cold winter.?.....a real Fimbulvintr ?
In this video I'm out in the forest together with Cornelius, enjoying the crispy cold weather and making some food and a nice cup of hot Chaga coffee with my little special addition.

Thanks as always Tom for another great video! Cornelius had a great time as well, and we all here love watching his adventures with you. I'm glad that you chose meat stick for lunch, only those of us who camp often know the joys of rotating those meat chucks all over the stick to cook them right. Unfortunately chaga is not native to Texas but it can be bought online. We mainly drink Yaupon tea which is the only native US plant that is caffeinated. It's healthy and delicious. You surprised me by not bringing a larger tarp out for this adventure: it could have reflected some of the heat from the fire. I am AMAZED by the sustained speed and bounce Corneilius is capable of.

Excellent video and channel. New subscriber. In the last year and a half I've been really into camping and have spent 1 1/2 months in the woods in the winter. In my opinion, there is nothing better than winter camping. And bushcraft shelters are the best way to camp. This type of life has greatly contributed to my sobriety. I thank God I found this way of life. God's creation is excellent. There are so many layers to it. Not only did He make it a playground and provided many supplies in it, but He also made it symbolize His very own personal nature and teach His wisdom as well in so many ways. May we seek out what He says of Himself and what He teaches in it and may it somehow make us more curious of He Himself thereby propelling us to Him

Cornelius seems to enjoy the winter, I know when I had my dog he used to go nuts(in a good way) and chomp at the snow and roll around in it and just have a grand old time. Gosh I love to see Cornelius having such a silly good time! Have you heard the song “Fimbulvetr” by The Blithering Humdingers? It’s worth a listen. I have them on Bandcamp, but they may be elsewhere as well. This winter will be bad…we’ve already had colder than normal temperatures, much earlier than expected. England is faring no better, even worse, and my friends in Germany say the same. Anyway, stay safe and warm, and have a glædelig jul!
