  • Garlic Butter Steak Gyros.
    INGREDIENTS
    *Make 4-6 servings
    STEAK
    + 1.5-2 lb Ribeye, cut into chunks
    + 1/2 C Butter
    + 2 TBSP fresh Italian parsley, chopped
    + 3 cloves garlic, minced
    + 1/2 tsp onion powder
    + Salt to taste (about 1/2 tsp)
    TZATZIKI
    + 1 C Greek yogurt
    + 1/2 cucumber, grated
    + 1/2 TBSP fresh dill, chopped
    + 1/2 lemon, juiced
    + 1 garlic clove, minced
    + Salt to taste
    VEGGIES
    + 1/2 Red onion
    + 1/2 C grape tomatoes
    + 1/2 cucumber, sliced
    + Olive oil
    + Salt
    NAAN
    + 4-6 Naan
    + 1 clove garlic, minced
    + 3 TBSP butter
    + 3 TBSP olive oil
    + 2 tsp fresh Italian parsley, chopped
    + Salt to taste
    DIRECTIONS
    + STEP 1: TZATZIKI
    Squeeze the grated cucumber in paper towels to remove as much moisture as possible. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and mix. Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
    + STEP 2: GRILL
    Slice the onion into chunks and add them to skewers. Add the tomatoes to separate skewers. Season with olive oil and salt. Grill over indirect heat until softened then grill over charcoal until slightly charred.
    + STEP 3: STEAK
    Season the chopped steak with onion powder and salt. Sear in a preheated skillet over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and add the butter, garlic, and parsley. Cook to your desired doneness. Remove from heat.
    + STEP 4: NAAN
    Combine the garlic, butter, and olive oil in a bowl and microwave until melted (15-20 seconds). Heat the naan in a skillet over medium heat. Brush the naan with the garlic butter mixture.
    + STEP 5: SERVE
    Assemble the gyros with the tzatziki, garlic butter steak, grilled onion and tomatoes, and cucumbers.
