No matter what people say i think this is and will remain in top 20 greatest basketball shoes of all time
They're hating on the shoes, but the best player in the world won the NBA Championship in them. Didn't seem to hurt LeBron to wear them in games 5-7.
Yeah cause Lebron isn't hoopin in a retail version he has his own player edition made perfect for him foot and his abilities. Nothing like the pair we buy from the store
smh @ common knowledge not being common....it proves that if they were that bad he wouldnt of switched to a worst sneaker to play in! what these guys didnt mention is that with this type of sneaker you would get them true to size or a half size smaller
your right they are made for his feet, but then formed into all sizes....what does that really mean tho...do you know that nike has ppl who are shoe testers?????

Edit: Just hooped with my soldier 10 today, here are my thoughts:
First of all, I painted my strap to black because I thought the red was too bright for me. :D After hearing from many reviews including yours talking about how the lock down for this shoe was not great, how there are heel slips, foot slipping out to the side, I wore 3 pair of socks as a repercussion to reduce the extra space in the shoe. 2 pair would be enough I think.
The first strap at the forefoot for me was very pressure sensitive, everyone's feet is different but I felt the strap pressing down to my foot which is great because I love wearing shoes with a glove effect. The 2nd strap did its job but for me was not as sensitive as the first strap. The 3rd strap locked the ankles and it was OK.
So with 3 layer of socks it removed any unnecessary extra space and side to side movement in the shoe plus the 3 straps, I have to say I had no lock down problems with it on first time wearing. So it was a positive experience for me. The forefoot cushion was very sensitive, upon high impact, you can actually feel shock coming through which was not as good as the rear cushion. I think the cushion should absorb any shock from impact with the floor. I had no problems with the upper materials.
So yea, my first experience with the 10 was actually a positive one, I loved the design but it had flaws which could have been avoided. Cushion at the forefoot should have been way better. Unique design with out unavoidable knickknack problems. 7/10. Thanks! :D

How do you painted it ?
if you're heavy you will be able to feel the cushion (zoom) just fine. I'm 210+ in a size 13 and can really feel the zoom in the forefoot

I was going to get these for basketball,but bens how I am a bit bigger I have bigger legs and when I flexed they would explode practically they just popped open ! They where kinda comfy .
aye just picked up a pair today an where I'm from its all outdoor courts so I guess I'm fine with the traction
I think the soldier 10s would be good for defense and ok for offense because in my opinion the weight helps me block lay ups and jump shots

i'm not a ball player and only bought them for the look, i like them a lot, the color way i got was black and mustard yellow.
I have two pairs the black and red and the all white with Gum bottoms and honestly the traction is fine by me on a good court just minimal wiping and they break in in like less than 15 mins
I'm gonna cop these in the Think Pink/ Kay Yow color way

Got a pair of these from an Outlet and im glad i did. The Soldier 10s second time use gave me a minor sprained ankle. I Agree with the lower foot strap being useless and Nelson's take on the upper strap with the Ankle. Too TIght hurt like hell and Too Loose means high risk of ankle injury.
Nucifero would you say still that they are good for ankle support because i twisted my ankle too in PG and want to change to a shoe that can protect my ankle really good

Got them but I dont slip.. To be true they are very hard to put your foot on that shoe.. And the shoes is very tight so you dont need an anklebrace!

How you do your hair
The shoes don't have terrible traction they just don't fit the "curry point guard" style. You're not supposed to take tight turns and quick moves, they're meant to give you height and short sprinting bursts for the best drive possible for dunks and layups. If you want a good point guard-type shoe you should buy kyries. Btw the shoe isn't meant for people who are 5'7" or shorter, sorry but it's true.

i think the soldier 10 are more of a forward shoe, not really for guards. i weight 215-220 and they feel great on me
