hi indra help me how to i update my sql data using netbeans
a very good one. I wanted to create the User class in another package but always encountered errors even when importing the package. Would you mind explaining how I can do that. Also, i needed to combine and display data from three different tables in my database. Will everything remain the same except the query and of course the rows declared in the code? Please help me get a general understanding or a link you have done that. thanks a lot.
Why do you store your objects inside an array list if you send it to the database? You can retrieve from the database any time, whereas all the data from an array list will disappear as soon as you close the program.

I've put a JTable into a JScrollPane and executed my query into it (the code is 100% correct). The problem is that it only shows n-1 results!!! If there's only one line to select the table remains empty!!!!! Any help?

Hi Indra, can u show us some way to view the data?
1) a user may choose the keywords from a "text field".
example when user key in keywords with "thur" in the "text field",
all the data name with "thur" will show out such as Arthur Tan, Lexthur, Exthur and etc.
2) choosing to view name that ages with more 21 years old.
3) then a user may view the data by clicking it become ascending or descending.

Indra, I'm having issues the way it's displaying the data in the jTable, it's not ordered correctly, the first 4 rows are empty (All the data are displayed below it), why? It's not the same in my Sql server database, they are ordered correctly.

right click on jtable > properties > rows tab > make the rows count 0

I have displayed image in jlabel. You can find the video in my playlist.
First Create JFrame.
then create a Panel from Palette.
now right click on newly created panel then click Set Layout then Null Layout.
Increase the size of created panel by drag.
then create a lable from Palette.
Increase the size of created lable by drag.
(Note that the size of Jframe, panel and lable are coinside each other or same size.
)
now final step Right click on your created Lable then select properties
In properties window click on icon, and browse any picture and then ok.

I have tried to retrieve data from database using this line. The data can be retrieved, however the column name will change to what is in my database column name.

problem is I can't understand which software I should use ?
#1 ( oracle sql developer)

If ubuntu supports these database, you can use any one of them which you feel easy. Coding is same, you only need to change the database connection code while working using other database
