Thanks for the pod settings. Trying to configure settings as close as I can to my Pod XT now. Well Yngwie... I think you have met your match. I never thought I would say that but Panos is great. Very melodic and creative. This track sounds a lot like the early days of Yngwie when he played with Steeler. Clean and precise.
Great tone...the compressor is set to 0db threshold.. that's like a limiter, it would beef up if you increaser the threshold to some -ve values. Also the eq is not doing anything, you have the frequencies defined in the lower column but the gain knobs are at unity... it's as good as not there... cheers..
to get that tight scooped compressed 80s sound it helps to compress (even out volumes and attacks) of the crazy amount of gain coming from the amp and stomp distortion... that being said he is using a crazy amount, very aggressive... but the ears don't lie!
The effects on the POD units don't often work exactly the same as the real world versions of these same effects . You cant' literally copy the real world settings and think they will sound or work the same in POD, you just have to experiment with your ears

Hi do you know how to run the x3 live so i have the sound of my real amp but the fx from the x3 live.
By using your amp fx loop send return.

it also has a different feel when u pay with that much compression... the lightest blip or the heaviest twang sound pretty much the same lol..
