Only thing painful was the cost of the rebuild and trying to understand the assembly of the VANOS unit. Other than that, it'll be a fun, straightforward rebuild, and really rewarding once you're done 👍

Josh, I own 2 verts. The s54 sound with the top down sold me. Personally, is never want a coupe for that reason. Honestly, I dont know where the car finds all the grip and chassis torsional rigidity. Best car I've ever owned so I did it twice 😂 gl with your purchase my dude, beautiful spec
There’s a video on CZcams, from UK. Same story. They’ve rebuilt that engine, got a new block. But you can pick up a good used engine, a couple for sale on marketplace right now, you can get one for about $4K. Block is iron.
