As I've said (probably too much) my Muskrat has the strongest pull I've ever dealt with. Austin is sending me another he picked out. It's the only Rosecraft that hasn't been perfect. My much older cousin was a trapper who taught me how to skin with a Camillus Muskrat. The French Broad Jack is superb.

@KnivesFAST The biggest thing he skinned was the occasional Beaver. Most were otters, possums, and raccoons. He kept a 1"x4" stone in his overalls bib and touched his blades up frequently. Skinning small animals cased is a lot simpler than skinning a deer. He used one of the Old Hickory type fixed blades for deer, hogs, and steers. That thing could cut a light beam.

I have quite a few of the Rosecraft traditionals, considering I'm not a big collector of slip joints. I am definitely feeling like it's time to get one more. It's just hard to decide because they have so many good ones.
Do yourself a favor and wait a little longer as there are two more cool options about to come out. It's hard to hold back at these prices and this quality. Thanks,
