this may be the chillest instrumental version of desolation row I've heard, and I've been pouring through them. and this is post Jerry almost death, reborn and off the speedball. that makes it even more beautiful, God I love the dead

I, too, have sought out every version of Desolation Row that I can find...looking for the best version where Jerry is strong with backup vocals...got one for me?

Happy to discover this New Year's eve performance today ! The covers of BD songs by GD are all great ! The delicious and subtil guitar playing of JG magnifies Dylan's music!

My first NYE show, and had a great time. Note how Jerry sneaks in the melody for "Auld Lane Syne." at the end of the first guitar solo.

congratulations to Bob for remembering ALL these lyrics. One of my all time fav Dylan songs. Totally different take from Dylan's weary, apocalyptic sotto vocce.

At 5:31 I heard a distinct Auld Lang Syne tone in Jerry's solo.

I never fucking realized that Brent was usually singing backups for the end of the verses like Jerry does at alpine. and Jerry joined in on the last part, "desolation row" line. you can just hardly hear him usually, idk if it's cause they had him low on that song or there's no decent recording. I always wondered why Jerry suddenly got the urge to do that. I bet it was Brent's idea and he was already doing it. the audience majestic it hard to hear in this one. the freaking Jerry, Bob, Brent trio vocal period, it wasn't always the best but sometimes they did it cool. I wish you could hear him better when we does I'm.
