Hey Y’all - I know this video probably won’t perform well, but I’m viewing it as my “Get Back in the Saddle” video, the 1st since my mom passed.
I haven’t made a video since then - I’ve been taking care of my Dad and family, plus everything that goes with that. I’m hoping to change that going into Final Shape.
So for any of you watching, thank you, it’s time to rebuild, revamp, and reload.

Hearts and thoughts are here to support you and remind us all how important our family connections are. Your connection with your mom will always be cherished within you, the pain of loss gets better with time as we choose to remember all the good and wonderful interactions we had. It’s ok to feel as we are humans and I hope you have enough love around you to share in the feelings and celebrate the life that created you. My condolences I lost mine last year
I remember running this in 2018 - the ship was the one thing I had left that no one could buy or get unless you did this mission. Only you had to wait each week so you could get the solar, void, arch versions in order to get it. Love the video, welcome back - can't wait to see the next one.
the ship is the main thing i want now.. i have old whisper with the catalyst, and am not a sniper guy.

One thing I ran into is you only need to make the timer to the Ogre boss after that it doesn't matter. A hold over from the old mission possibly, but even if you die it won't matter as long as you are on the Ogre boss before the timer runs out.

I’m definitely not a PvE pro, but this is a super easy mission to solo. Polaris Lance makes it straight up easy mode for the boss fight.

I dont have any good ad clear lmgs does a GL work? I have an edge tranzit with chain reaction frienzy or theres always cry mutiny with incandescent.
How much better dps wise is the new whisper compared to the old one?
Archons thunder solar machine gun with field prep and rampage is also good from iron banner
were/how to I get the "taken spec" for a sniperrifle?
On change I would make, in the second room with all of the taken blights. After you clear the room, shoot down the blight that's at the door (where the 2 taken phalanx's spawn). This way you don't have to worry about chasing them into the hallway at all, can just turn around and pop em as soon as they spawn in.
I think I mentioned that I do that sometimes. For me, I just don’t waste the time to do that. Easier for me, but certainly an option

Can you explain why you became radiant at 8:32? I see you throw a healing grenade but I don't understand how that gave you radiant.
It’s part of the artifact - rapid precision hits cause you to become radiant. I think it’s rays of precision or something like that

Nobody does solo guides using Titans or Hunters. Would love to see more non warlock guides.
I did the mission but didn't get the gun, only 2 more quests...

Do you need a warlock for this or can you do this with a hunter?
Easily could do with a hunter, although using strand with the "beyblade" spinning grapple items might work well for crowd control
I been running it with a Hunter. Void build with Orpheus Rigs. I run Malfeasance, Staccato-46 with Dragon Fly, and Recurrent Impact. Those orange and yellow bars melt very quickly. I did this build last night and had about 20 minutes to spare. That was of course on normal. I’ll be running this on legendary later tonight to see how it does.
A Hunter with Malfeasance, Luck Pants, and a Void build absolutely destroys the taken bosses.
This is all fine and dandy with warlocks. What about hunters and titans?
Given the interest in this topic and the metrics I’m seeing on CZcams (and my views) I doubt I’ll make another video.
Honestly, do jumping puzzle, do something that can clear lots of adds. Probably, golden gun hunter with Polaris, and Titan with pyrogale. Might not be as strong, but it’ll get the job done, I had like 8 minutes left, and I wasn’t going fast.
@TheManoDestra I actually found strand hunter, maelstrom, the new ib grenade launcher with slice/chain reaction and dragons breath. Everything is either severed or scorched. Clears ads quickly and does decent dps on the bosses. Need to tweak it slightly for legend

I know I’m not good enough for legendary 😅 so I’ll not try I’m not good with to short a time limit
What the hell have they done to the Titan Jump. I have done Wisper many many time in Titan and Warlock in the past, turned up the agility on the Titan and I seriously struggled the first set of jumps, I rage quit. Tried it with the Warlock no problem at all.

Am i missing something? I have all of the artifact mods you mentioned and even when radiant and using solar weapons i cant shoot through the blights and shields?
If you’re using a hand cannon or something else that is also in the artifact, it will over ride the anti barrier
@@TheManoDestra I was running succession, Polaris, avalanche. Would running a fragment that grants radiance on melee hits interfere?
@@vomitthesoul4467 it shouldn’t. However, I did notice that if there were two blights in the way, then it wouldn’t work. Maybe that is what was going on?
@@TheManoDestra unfortunately no. I got radiant and just got immune on every shot regardless of the type or number of barriers. I must have something wrong on my build. Thanx for responding and trying to help. Still a great video and even with the radiant strat not working the rest of the info is solid. My last run I failed by a very small margin. Great content, Subscribed and all notifications selected
My issue will simply be getting higher level gear. I'm 1821 right now, and the legend variant is 1830.
1810 is the cap the rest of the level points is from your season pass so its about getting your season rank up I think for 1830 you might need to be about 200 on your season pass
Don't worry I'm 1830 and I can't even do the quest on normal mode and that's even after watching this video and I also don't have the patience for the time it gives
The legend modifier limits your effective power to 1815, 15 power below the activity. Master (1840) limits you to 20 levels below the activity. So the highest power you can get to make a difference in legend difficulty activities is 1815 at the moment. For master, its 1820 that is the maximum effective power, so you are at level to do master activities.

@@TheManoDestra no, the struggle was dealing with the adds, but worked once i joined a fireteam and the 3 of us got it done

At 7:12 - “….You can go left to continue on OR continue moving forward, there is where you’re going the find the 2nd oracle…”
Basically, after you jump off the moving platform, you move forward until you find a path by turning left - if you keep going straight it will bring you to the oracle.
When I say “head back the way you came” I mean, go back to the main path. There’s literally no where else you can go.

I am a third rate player and I was able to complete this on regular difficulty. Something I did not know is that when the timer went to zero during the boss fight, the mission keeps going. So, I was able to complete it and got Whisper. However, I did die a lot in the boss encounter.
I did today alone even though I already have the Whisper, I did it for fun
