I like how pocket edition is placed way higher than bedrock edition, despite both being the exact same version, especially when you realise that Bedrock is based on the Pocket Edition.

Every bedrock CZcamsr is active in every country, evident, ignacioblade, diecies, Pada iOS and a lot more. Don’t assume that bedrock is bad without trying it or doing any research first. I’m not saying Java is bad or saying that bedrock is better than java (actually, I’m gonna say it, for me it is, less toxic community etc), I’m just saying bedrock runs smoother and has got a big active community and less glitches than java.

the worlds on legacy edition are really small but there is an option to make custom layered flat worlds with only mansions spawning wich was cool at the time to make weird survival experiences

Bedrock has dye in cauldrons, arms on armor stands, you get to play with friends and add friends, have multiple avatars, have infinite punch rate, and are applicable to most redstone contraptions, only downside is it doesn’t have borders, and shaders.
Edit: I have a PC now so I can play both versions....
2nd edit: I keep getting mixed opinions and I just want to clear the air: I do not hate either version, they both have pros and cons and everyone can use whichever version they prefer

I miss those tutorial worlds with all the builds and nice eastereggs.
I like how he puts Bedrock on F tier and immediately brings up Bedrock running on mobile and puts it on S. They replaced Pocket Edition with Bedrock and I would do anything to play the real pocket edition again.
ON mobile bedrock edition is great because I won't expecting me to handle the combat system like most of mobile players can't even do advanced stuff like Abdullah or 4 fingers or 1 cps
But for pc id rather play with good competition instead playing with mobile players
Bedrock: Falling trees, dyed cauldrons, baby squids, pushable pistons, crafting 2x2 grid in creative, SNOWY LEAVES, 1 addon makes your ipad roar (Heated), wow no enchanting sound.
Java: crouch with trapdoors, more damage in critical, time pauses when you pause, acheivements on creative, Shaders, OptiFine

I'd say that java would be better but in my opinion I think that bedrock is the more hard version of minecraft
Because of lag,no f3,no trapdoor crouching,different red stone,completely different mechanics that make building farms harder and for all the builders out there yep that's right the item frames and torches won't work,no custom shields,banners that are named won't show on maps making maps somewhat harder to use if anybody does bother using it.and that's all the cons of bedrock

I reckon the hardest and most painful (official) version you could play is Minecraft 2.0 Purple. It will take you literal days to slog through it.

The Minecraft classic browser port isn’t actually the original but rather a remake. The original 0.23 has footsteps, fixed humans, and manual saving. Along with different leave sounds.

This is because bedrock is better optimized (unlike he said) because it goes straight from the lancher to the game but Java (for less bugs) it goes from the launcher to then launch the code then launch the game, and don’t get me started with multiplayer

java players really dont know how many advantages we have on bedrock. ive played both versions and java is when you have money to spare and i dont like that you cant grow sugar cane with bone meal. bedrock is more inclusive, u can play with switch players on your phone or play with xbox. when i play with friends i play bedrock because java and only play with other java players but not bedrock. i like both versions but bedrock, its just an original for me.
Also btw many people can literally play on 1 account a singular account like the enite USA can play minecraft on 1 single account
Same I lost 4 worlds tin java edition and I felt sad. the first world was my favorite I knew a lot but still haven't tried it yet it was a blast. It was also my first in 2 years playing Minecraft again because I was to broke lol. And all of them either crashed the computer or game and lost the world or... I just gave up on one... But I played on my phone and never lost a world yet. I was doing better than other java worlds I had and you can crawl so much faster in Bedrock edition and I have more Graphics on Bedrock Edition and it still runs better than Java.

You know, I get it- but I play bedrock so I can connect with my friends on many different devices. Some people don’t have a nice laptop or computer, some kids were given an Xbox gaming console tho! I too am a Java veteran, been playing Minecraft since when it came out! I only switched to bedrock in the past two years so I could play with my now husband and our shared friends while we were dating. It connects us!

Omg…Paper Minecraft just unlocked a memory of mine from 3 years ago, back in Robotics, when we had free time on the computers, my robotics partner (who is now actually my bf now yay), showed em paper Minecraft on Scratch, and he was so fascinated, and we just ended up playing it for the whole class period. Can’t believe I forgot about that, might not have been the original Minecraft, but it was a good memory.

I actually really like the 3DS version of Minecraft. Sure, it's not the most powerful version, but the 3DS is still one of my favorite consoles of all time and it is pretty novel seeing an official version for the system. Also having a second screen for inventory and crafting is very handy.

I once played a Minecraft ripoff and the generation was so weird. You spawned in a snow biome almost every time and there would be weird "sky caves" that are stone in the shape of eggs with a hole in one side

Legit most updates are bug fixes and patches. I’ve seen glitches on bedrock where you randomly die out of no where. And you won’t get a virus if you get Minecraft on the official site.

He’s just meming mate, and the legacy console edition itself is totally different to Bedrock.
Unlike Pocket Edition, it was literally replaced with Bedrock Edition rather than merged into it. It’s a totally different set of code with a totally different set of developers (4J Studios).

everyones saying how big the community is on bedrock so bugs will be reported. very wrong. most bedrock players are 6-8 years old and they wont know or care about reporting bugs. while java is mostly teens and adults. also everyone is talking about how optimized bedrock is. while that may be true i sure love to fall through the world at 3k blocks when my controller drifts.

curriously Nowdays somebody managed to put one of the betas of minecraft in the wii, it is still pretty primitive but it can run run generate worlds

Okay, this was a bit unhinged. Let's kick it up a notch.
Minecraft Java runs on, you guessed it, Java. Java is an interpreted language and as long as you have an interpreter, it can run. You do need a launcher that can make the game run, and since the launcher is not made in Java, it quickly becomes difficult. Someone DID make a launcher for Android at some point tho, so it's possible. Maybe someone will make a launcher using Java. Would be nice.
Wii craft is like if you were testing Minecraft if it was pre testing in 1995 for the N64.
