Such a game changer when they start to move! We like keeping a drawer or cabinet in each room that my toddler can open for entertainment if necessary. Like the kitchen he has one drawer with spatulas and such. It's a fun change of pace for him when allow him to play "freely"
Wow the box idea is great for cats as well my cat likes to sit on electrical panels I know some people have cats that chew on them
RC CGC I often say cats and toddlers have a lot in common. An affinity for messing with the fish tank, attraction to dust bunnies and unrolling yarn and things that take forever to put back, ability and desires to hide in cabinets 😆

I love the pool noodles on the door to save fingers. I wish I would have thought of it. Your channel is one of my favorites.
To prevent them from chewing the crib, I bought crib bumpers at a yard sale and folded them over the rails and tied them just like you did your fleece

Those door latches that go around corners are something else! We've struggled in the past with keeping corner pantries locked.
I am past the baby proofing stage. My daughter is almost 10. It goes so fast. We enjoy watching your boys. They are so cute. When my daughter was about 2 she pulled off the door knob covers and let herself outside. Needless to say a lock, that was out of her reach, went on that door.

Good video. We didn't do a lot when my kids were babies, just the obvious ones. These new items are very nice compared to those we had 20 yrs ago. I was blessed to always be a stay at home Mom, and I was always with my children, so safety was never an issue

I wish this video came out a few years ago. My nephew chewed the side of his crib so bad, we got fabric and covered it but we weaved it and it ended up not working very well. These are some amazing ideas
Baby proofing with pool noodles!!! We stuck one on our fireplace edges. The munchkin latches are the only thing my kids (and most of our friends 😂 ) can't figure out (yet...) We probably have bought a million of them. 👍

Love your videos! Boys need a lot more baby proofing than girls. I never needed door knob covers or cabinet latches until I had boys, they are so much more curious and what I like to call little "problem solvers".

we love our munchkin Gates, we've used them since 2010, and they're still the best. we lost some parts, so we called them, and the had great customer service. highly recommend!

Indeed a very helpful video but I so wish you made it 3 years earlier :) as my elder daughter always kept me on my toes espcially when we moved to a new house with two staircases. My 2 years is a like a cool breeze :D and follows all my instructions. But…. the pool noodle idea is a genius as the little one hurts her fingers most of the time.
