Isaac from The Binding of Isaac is pretty cute, too. Also, if you guys haven't played Machinarium, it's soooo worth the money. The soundtrack, artwork, and puzzles make the game extremely replayable. And yeah, Joseph is really cute, too.

A character I would've chosen would be Midna from Twilight Princess. Not only is she tiny with big eyes and a big helmet and a snarky attitude, she prefers to call you "doggie" when Link is in wolf form; and while she does start off selfish, she soon starts to treat Link as a true friend after fighting with him and even apologizes for something as simple as hiding in his shadow so that her people can't see her. It's okay, Midna, you can stay as my shadow for as long as you need!
