    Thanks Tony. Don’t worry much about dry spells. I think we all go through that for different reasons. I know I’m retired, and live in the country, so plenty of time to practice everyday especially in the winter. But with this covid19 stuff it’s so depressing. I find myself just not a good creative or get yourself of the couch and work mode. None the less your lessons although only a few minutes long, leave me with a lifetime of study. Thanks again!!! I appreciate you so much! Love how you play. Love how you teach.
    See ya buddy!!

    I've always noticed that I couldn't use the same voicings in every key because for some the register would be infelicitous. However it is very helpful to hear it from you. I enjoy all your videos, including the occasional anecdote as in this one.

    Never really sat down and thought out a circle of fifths turnaround like that. I’m gonna have a lot of fun playing around with that for a while. Thanks Tony!

    Tony I trully have to say THANK YOU for this concentration of information !!!
    I tryed this stuff before, but it was very difficult to understand, it's so dissonant, it's great "clima" with the 6th.
    I would suggest to be more clear on the structure, but it's a blues, no need to be more clear than that.
    Thank, thank, thank you !!!

    One doubt : I tried to replicate in other tones, we go crazy in the first, than you kind of create some finger rules... not to think too much.
    But happened to my ear that for F is acceptable, but not so cool, and for C it's too high !! (did't dare more tones to avoid paranoia). Any other good tone suggestions ?

    I understand going up to the E7 (Bb) to start "the move", but when you do 2-5-1 back to G, it seems like its A7 - Dm7 - Gmaj. If that's right, its an unusual turnaround driven by the chromatic in place of the standard min-dom-maj, Or did I miss something?

    • @TonyWinston
      @TonyWinston  Před 4 lety

      The move is really G7 to C7 then B7alt E7alt, so I wasn't making the right call there. What you wrote is correct for what I did but its D7alt not Dm7.
