Spurs have often had superstar players like Bale, Ginola, Hoddle etc, but to have both Kane and Son in the same era is just incredible. God I hope they can get their hands on some silverware to cement their legacy.
In 86/87 we had Hoddle, Waddle and Ardiles in midfield while up front Clive Allen scored 33 goals in the league, 49 in all competitions.
I love Son and Kane the most 😍I hope they retire at this club with so much success 🙏🙏
When you truly look at it there is no reason we shouldn’t be competing for trophies. We have a World Cup winning goalie, arguably one of the best premier league strikers of all time, the golden boot winner, and a bunch of great teammates

@@Tr33fiddy Oh absolutely. Fantastic players from a golden era. But I'm referring to the modern superstar footballer in the post Beckham era. I was born in 87 so for most of my memory, Spurs have always been a shit team. Whenever we did have a superstar player, they'd be quickly snapped up by bigger clubs. The fact that we currently have 2 players that would walk into any team in world football is amazing as a Spurs fan.
I'm 100% sure going to Korea for Pre season was such a great choice. You can feel the love from everyone there. Love that!
I love the Korean fans, their always respectful toward the players. They understand not to go over the top.
Tottenham Hotspur fans in Korea also really respect Tottenham players and love their play.
So the fans were screaming and clapping in the stadium but very quiet and well-mannered during the autograph session.

Can't speak for all, obviously, but Korean fans are absolutely incredible when it comes to this aspect. They know when to turn ALL THE WAY up... but they also know when to back off & be respectful. They have this collective mindset that if you truly love and are a fan of a certain celebrity, you'll want them to feel comfortable and safe, not violated and bombarded. I've even seen people there put rowdy fans in their place if they deem it to be disrespectful to the athlete/singer/actor/etc. Great to see, compared to the states.

Thought I would only see Son and Kane shirts all over but wow! I saw quite a number of other players too. At the airport reception, I saw Kulu, Romero, Hoij, Bentancur, even Ginola and Klinsmann retro shirts and I was like WTF??? these fans are serious. I knew Korea already had a big Spurs fan community even before Son because of Young-Pyo Lee back in mid 2000's but they are serious supporters woah! LOVE IT!

When it comes to sports especially, you won't find a more loyal group of people. Once they love you, you're IN.
Spurs touring Sonny's home country can see that is bringing the team together, particularly good given the number of new players brought in. This is going to serve us so well for the season ahead. Come on you Spurs!
All players were SUPER kind, generous, polite to the fans. They always smiled, signed, took pictures together even after a 2 hour long session in crazy humid weather its impossible not to support the team
Its dissapointing that spurs is easily the most hated/joked about, even if their team are all respectable role models
Son is understandably such a hero & legend there. Korean people are also so incredibly nice & polite - even when getting autographs & having selfies with all these Spurs players & their heroes like Kane, Son etc. You can understand why all our top clubs makes these tours to the Far East in the off season to build their fan base in such important markets.

I watched Korean coverage of the session and the run was brutal. Sanchez, Gil, Pape Matar Sarr and Troy Parrot's fitness levels were incredible and won't go unnoticed by Conte I'm sure.
