Some Island locations are seeking “safety” in the air - most notably Condo Canyon. Now called Cloudy Condos, attack from above in this expanding POI. Chrome’s not only taking over points of interest, it’s built a brand new one. Ascend Herald’s Sanctum (near the abandoned Sanctuary) and stand atop this tower of Chrome.
Defy the laws of physics by walking through Chrome walls! Throw a Chrome Splash at the walls to make the walls penetrable - jump right through the building and get the drop on your opponent!

Watching this exactly one year later makes me want this season back so badly. The mobility, balloons, theme, map, and Spider Gwen in the battle bass makes this one of my favorite seasons of all time.
I loved the Chrome the most in that Season.

It's been a year.
A whole year since my favourite season of all time arrived. Upon watching the trailer again today, I felt something inside of me.
I really hope they put the Chrome Splashes in creative soon 😔
There were banned glitched creative maps where you could get the chrome guns and I got to use them so it means they're planning to bring chrome back to creative

I’m just gonna say, the song here fits very well with the season as a whole. Especially the beginning opening shots. Showing chromed objects and how the island gets slowly covered in chrome overtime. It just feels so eerie knowing that the chrome was an unstoppable force that led to the destruction of the Chapter 3 map. And the season name sounds unfitting but also genius. Paradise was not for the players, instead for the Herald and The Nothing. Its also eerie knowing how the massive party we had in Ch3 S3 went to an apocalypse doomsday in S4. Cheers to Epic for a great end to Chapter 3 🍻

Another 1 year season in the books. I really liked how this season brought back vaults in a way, even thought it wasn’t EXACTLY how we remembered them. The battle pass was pretty good, and I liked how they tied the chrome to the last reality. Will always remember this season.

Even though the event was disappointing, this season was fun ngl
i cant stop watching this trailer! The camera angles are amazing, the song fits perfectly with the season, the trailer does a perfect job showing the new season, and the whole trailer flows so well. At the start we see an introduction to the characters/skins and we see them make their way to The Herald’s sanctum, then we see them fighting their way in and walking towards The Herald. Great trailer.

One of the best battlepass trailer ever
Even though I feel like this season was a tad forgettable, it was honestly great. Season 2 and 3 of chapter 3 just didn't hit the same for me, but this season just did everything right. It had an overall theme and it stuck to it hard. It had multiple great updates throughout the season, and it was just a ton of fun.
Also this is one of the best damn trailers they've ever made imo
I loved Chapter 3, especially seasons 1-3. I wasn’t a huge fan of this season overall, but it did have a great story. I wish I could go back to Chapter 3 again.

This was my favorite season of the chapter. Obviously the live event was lack luster but other than that it was so much fun and easily the happiest I’ve been playing fortnite since chapter 2.
