It's great to see that Marilyn is still in the show after all these years, along with Alf and Irene from the good old days of Home and Away back in the 90's, as I really do miss the likes of Pippa, Sally, Michael, Steven, Jack, Curtis, Chloe, Shannon, Selina, Ailsa, Duncan, Fisher, Bobby, Shane, Angel and Sam, Jesse to name but a few. It's sad those characters are no longer in the show, especially as in recent years the actors who played Shane and Jesse have both died in real life along with the actresses who played Hope Morrison and Morag Bellingham. I hope they bring some of them back especially Sally.
@@AS-wj1du I agree with you @A S , although I suppose it's important to remember that the show has just moved along with the times, as the actors who played the other 90's characters I mentioned in my previous comment chose to leave to pursue other acting roles and / or challenges. Plus the storylines are very different now because life has moved on from the 90's and the current era of the show with the river boys is that the show is like now and I suppose viewers such as me and you have to accept that and realize that the like of Shane, Angel, Pippa, Sally, Fisher, Bobby, Ailsa, Irene, Marilyn, Alf, Michael, Jack, Curtis, Chloe, Shannon and Selina were of a different era of home and away which belongs in the past now. Still though, I think that Alf, Irene and Marilyn still fit in well with the current era of the show and we'll always have the memories of the classic 90's era of the show in our hearts and minds!

I remember just over three years later in Alf's store he was all but losing it with Irene then out of nowhere behind him Marylin's voice can be heard sweetly reminding Alf "oh Mr Stewart remember your blood pressure........."
I've grown to realize over 25 years that Marylin is actually the Perfect Soul on this Planet. She would never hurt a fly. A real one in a million.
I thought so. She left John for no good reason and her life's not better off
They've really ruined her character recently.
The early years were the best years. Never watched since the late 90's.
Alf is a big softie at heart. And Marilyn has to be the most likelable character on TV.
