I honestly think that she never got closure from the whole Ike situation..she plainly just moved forward and never looked back.That's why when they asked her to comment on Ike's death she just said that she hasn't talked to him in over 35 years years, and no further comment.She has every right not to say anything nice about him after the pure hell he put her through.
Clearwater Creedence Revival did originally produce 'Proud Mary' in all honesty, and it was Ike and Tina Turner that brought the song into the mainstream. Although to be fair I always have, and always will prefer Tina's solo version of the song! Even if I loved Diva Fevers attempt!!! XD

Yeah, why is the dirt missing? It's hard to tell from the recording which is very weak in the mid-low range, but my ear is telling me she's also singing with practically no chest resonance. And she sounds cautious for her. Perhaps she was sick that day?
