2023 Webinar - Secure hardware for digital currencies (Infineon)

The fascinating evolution of digital currencies from the emergence of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, to the rise of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) is closely linked to innovations in applied cryptography. In this webinar, I will first give an overview of the different types of digital currencies and then explain the use cases for secure hardware wallets with some examples. Finally, I will transfer these to Java Card platforms in terms of security, functionality and performance.
