I loved this game as a kid bro. The music went so hard!
I remember being so hyped for this game. Then it came out and didn't have enough characters for me because I was used to playing Tenkaichi 3. I did like the rock, paper, scissors mechanic though, unless I was fighting Kid Buu in story mode. He was ridiculously hard

"I did like the rock, paper, scissors mechanic" - said no one ever. That's exactly why the gameplay was terrible, combining it with the super reduced roster (since having a big roster was one of the things that made Budokai Tenkaichi 3 so great), was what made this game such a disappointment.
It literally plays more like budokai those games had a rock, paper, scissors gimmick

Yes this is so true, after racing blast 2 gohan never have his base form in all games
To me it’s really annoying but I kind of do understand because Gohan hadn’t turned into base form after he got out hyperbolic time chamber but yeah it’s weird how they considered that in games too.

It always kind of bothered me that Gogeta was the only super Saiyan 4 in this game and Omega Shenron was the only villian from GT.

This game had a good idea but it was poorly developed.
It was definitely rock paper scissors, see who can attack first or match the command as your opponent
Just another case of good concept but poor execution
People say it's trash because of the Rock Paper Scissors Mechanic but everything else about the game is actually good tbh😂

- OC Creation (even though it was only one race and one gender)

DivineWrath YT the only reason why people say it’s trash is because way better games were out before it, infinite world and budokai tenkaichi outclass this game by miles

The character roster isn't decent lol. You gotta remember, this game came out around the time of Raging Blast 2 and a couple of years after Tenkiachi 3. Tenkaichi 3 had a roster of over 120 charcters/forms while this game only has 50. Even Raging Blast 2 had 67 characters if I remember correctly.
The only new added characeter was Ginyu in Goku's Body and the Created character

Considering this game is more based on the assets from the Raging Blast series, then yes SS4 Gogeta and Omega Shenron are in fact new additions.

Y'know, Ultimate tenkaichi tries to play like Budokai and burst limit but with Tenkaichi and Raging blast elements in it but they excuted it badly
This game was pretty much another chapter in the tenkaichi and raging blast series with its on new twist to the game play. I love it!
@@midsectionmark8956 I don't blame you for liking something like this game but I felt like ultimate tenkachi should just better off be raging blast 3. Not to mention that alot of the characters in the game appears in previous ones and they also straight up remove alot of characters.

This game will always be iconic, regardless of the hate. Best part was finally creating a character and getting to play some disturbed, saliva, and other great music while tearing up the stages.
You could play your own music in Raging blast 1 and 2.
Which made those games even better lol especially getting a combo chain going while five finger death punch is playing in the background

Anybody else mad you can’t see all the characters at once, it’s infuriating to have to look at this, like who’s bright idea was it to make the person scroll so they can see all the characters
One of the best things I like about Video games and especially fighting ones is looking at the large roster all at once
No, actually, I am not mad or infuriated about that at all. Since I am mature and have a fully developed brain, I don't get mad, picky, or infuriated over character select screens like this. I'm used to it because WWF No Mercy for N64 had a character select screen similar to this.

The game was beautiful and I had fun playing it, but the rock paper scissors mechanic and separating the hand to hand fighting with the distance fighting in such a way felt so wrong imo. And such a sad roster, thankfully they had some OVA and GT stuff in there to save it

1-Models look good but the color palette that they chose is dull which ruins the gameplay for me.

I bought this game today. Its fun how people try to hate on it. I love raging blast 2, fighterz, tenkaichi tag team for psp. Xenoverse--limited moves, special effects bad (dont fit the Mangas), budokai on psp: really lame gameplay for me. There are a lot of dbz games and everyone will find his game. So stop crying and play the game you Like and get happy with it

Elvin R I did not play it that much because I gave the PS3 to a friend. What I played was fun and when I get it back I will continue playing. The fights are spectacular and Fun. I had the feeling that you dont have a lot of options compared to other dbz Games. Its nice to See hört the world gets destroyed..just try it. i have the most games from the franchise and I think every game has its Own pros and Cons...im from Germany so dont judge my english. RB2 is my Favorite because of the live-transformations :-)

No base teen Gohan, base Gotenks, future Gohan, base Vegito, base Gogeta, super Saiyan Bardock.

And Kid goku, Chiaotzu, Roshi, Tao, Pilaf machine, king Piccolo, grandpa Gohan And that are just The Most important Db Chars!

Never listen to what anyone tells you about a game if it looks good to you get it
Don't waste your money on this game. Just take a good look at it, if you wanted to play an Arena Fighter based on Dragon Ball, Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is still the best option and Raging Blast 2 at minimum, the problem with Ultimate Tenkaichi is that the game is like 10% fighting and the rest are cutscenes with time-events.
I dis like that there in no normal teen gohan gotanks vigito gogeta no ssj or ssj2 gohan and no super buu piccolo or gotanks absorbed but there's 3 vegetas
