The actor who plays Fagin (a major villain in Oliver Twist) is Timothy Spall. Mr. Spall also plays Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter movies.
On the BBC section, David Copperfield, Bleak House, and Oliver Twist are all very very good. Maybe spoiler, but David Copperfield features Daniel Radcliffe and Maggie Smith working together one year before the original Harry Potter movie was released.
