Apparently when I was little (around 3 years old), my dad used to sing me this song to sleep every night and I couldn't sleep without it because it was my favourite song in the world. What I love is that this was originally released for the 96 tournament which was held in England, which we lost to the Germans in the semi finals on penalties. I'me old enough to remember Italia 90. It was the first tournament I watched. But going back to the song. Is it is amazing how this song is still Iconic 25 years after its release and sung by football fans. I changed it as I realised my mistake. 94 was the USA world cup, which England didn't qualify for sadly.

Abengance Woah, slow down looool, it was a great match, but we still need to improve. We still only just came back against a weak Germany side. At full strength they'd have had an easier time against us.
This just proves you have to be at your best to beat us, it shows that we can go toe to toe with the second best, which is an improvement because normally a subpar German team would beat us.
It's progress, but we need to be able to consistently beat Spain and France and Germany etc. to win tournaments. Which is the end game.
